When you stay at Wave Dancer, hitting the beach couldn’t be easier. The airy, sunny house is just steps from the sand and the ocean: Stroll through the backyard to the private boardwalk over the dunes, and there you are! And when you’re not searching for shells on the beach or dashing into the waves, you can laze among the fresh sea breezes from the backyard hammock or admire the sun rising or setting over the Atlantic from Wave Dancer’s spacious deck or the equally roomy enclosed patio.

Running the length of the house, the deck is large enough for the whole family to sit outside together and enjoy a snack or play cards while watching for dolphins and whales beyond the surf. The large patio below has a table and chairs so that you can enjoy a meal in full view of the beach as well.

The patio’s sliding doors lead into the great room—and a great room it is, with a big sectional sofa you’ll love stretching out on. The sofa can convert into a bed for 2, so that Wave Dancer can sleep up to 6 people. A new HDTV with DVD player stands ready to entertain, and a bistro table offers the ideal place to play cards or sit with your laptop and catch up on your email—after all, Wave Dancer offers free wireless web access. One corner of the great room is devoted to the dining table, which easily seats 6. There's also a breakfast bar with padded stools for less formal moments.

If you’re visiting in winter, you’ll want to take advantage of the fireplace. The rest of the year, the tiled floors and the ceiling fans are more relevant, keeping the air-conditioned coolness circulating nicely!

Whether you plan to cook gourmet meals or simply brew a cup of coffee to get you started in the morning, you’ll appreciate the recently renovated kitchen. It’s equipped with all your major appliances and plenty of minor ones as well, not to mention all the cookware, tableware, and utensils you could possibly need. There’s also plenty of space in the fridge, the freezer, and the cupboards, so that you can stock up on groceries in the beginning of your stay and not have to waste any more of your precious vacation time in the supermarket.

Of course, you want to be well rested while on vacation, so that you can enjoy your stay to the max. Wave Dancer’s two bedrooms make it easy for you to catch up on your sleep and wake up refreshed and raring to go. Not only does the master suite have a luxurious queen bed, an HDTV, and an en-suite bath complete with his-and-her vanities, but it also has sliding glass doors that lead out to the deck. Stargaze out here at midnight, then slip into bed and fall asleep to the gentle sound of the surf, or wake early one morning and slip outside to catch the sun rising over the ocean.

The second bedroom is well appointed too, with another queen-size bed and a full couch for lounging (or possibly for sleeping that small child who still likes to be close to Mom and Dad). The second full bathroom at Wave Dancer is convenient to this room.

Fresh linens and towels, as well as blankets and plenty of pillows, will be waiting for you. Also waiting are the full-size washer and dryer, so that you can pack light without having to waste time at the Laundromat--time that could be better spent wind-surfing, sailing, beachcombing, surfcasting, exploring nearby St. Augustine, visiting Marineland... or simply sipping a frosty drink while you swing in the hammock.

At Wave Dancer, you can do all of the above--and much more besides. So go ahead, book your stay today, and get ready to hit the beach.
My name is Steve Milo and I stay in Vacation Rental Homes when I travel both domestically and abroad. I own several vacation rental homes and listen carefully to our guests and their feedback and then opened my company Vacation Rental Pros in 2006! Our greatest compliment is when our guests refer our web site to their friends and relatives. AND, now Vacation Rental Pros is managing over 825 properties in Ft Myers Beach, Orlando, St Augustine Beach, Daytona Beach, Palm Coast and Ponte Vedra Beach. Our guests and their great 'word of mouth' have helped us expand to over 825+ vacation rentals. We booked over 15,000 rentals and received over 5,000 guest reviews in 2014.
We made the most of the trip but have decided that we will never do that again! I understand some of the rules but, cleaning the place before you leave including the laundry was a bit much! The cleaning crew only had to make the beds and clean the toilets.
We enjoyed the stay very much...the furniture in the living room needs to be is wicker furniture that is for patio not living area..very uncomfortable..light switches did not turn on some lights...not sure if bulbs are blown or didn't work..you could make this condo sleep more by changing master room to smaller room upstairs and add twins or bunk beds in larger room..did like having 2 set washer and dryers.
Had a wonderful time. The place was very cleaned and plenty of room for us all. Would love it if they would assign parking spaces up front for each condo.
Overall, we enjoyed the stay. It was good to be at the ocean again. The unit was in a quiet and less busy location which is restful. It was clean and ready to be had almost everything we needed except a good place to hang wet beach towels and bathing suits with sand on them(even after rinsing them off at the outside showers.) We would have liked to open the windows but the screens were absent. The upstairs main bedroom stayed a bit warm the whole time which was not terrible as we are not accustomed to using air conditioning but there are many people who would be very uncomfortable with how warm it was upstairs. The front storm door is likely to fall unexpectedly and break as it doesn't engage in the slots easily and looks as if it has already fallen a few times. The porch light is out. Our checkout instructions conflicted with instructions left posted on the refrigerator as to the time of checkout and what cleaning should be done. The instructions on the fridge say to wash the towels first and then wash the sheets, take out the trash, and load the dishwasher. It's hard not to have towels up to the time of departure when everyone is busy packing and using the restrooms. It seems like asking too much to have to wash towels and sheets when you have to pay a cleaning fee of $125.00. A VacationRentalPros person told us per phone message: 'If you are able,(1): start a load of towels,(2):take out the trash, and (3):load the dishwasher.' That's a lot easier than what the paper on the fridge said. We decided to be conservative and follow the instructions on the fridge as we didn't want to incur additional fees. Again,we are not being critical to complain but are giving feedback.
The Four Winds was great. Our condo's proximity to the beach and to St. Augustine was just about perfect. I would recommend this condo and Vacation Rental Pros to all!! Thank you for an easy rental process.
