Picturesque custom built log lodge nestled in complete solitude along Mill Creek, just miles from the Yellowstone River, Yellowstone National Park and historic Livingston, Montana.
Enjoy all the finer comforts of home in a rustic home built with attention to the finest details, all while feeling like you are nestled in the wilds of Montana. Rainbow Bend Lodge is perfectly situated for your sightseeing, recreation, and Montana getaway needs. 15 minutes from Livingston, 40 minutes from Yellowstone National Park and 15 minutes from world-class flyfishing, spas, hot springs, climbing, hiking and much more ....
Rainbow Bend was built to accommodate large families and encourage groups of friends to kick up their heels, crack a cold beverage and laugh on the wrap-around decks. You can watch wildlife graze on the mountainsides in the twilight hours of the day, fish your own private waters, and then cook up a gourmet meal for 10 in the large entertainment kitchen.
This impeccably maintained and planned property is a MUST see and you will want to return to it year after year.

Rainbow Bend is owned by 3 families who all have the common goals of: have fun, surround yourself with family, fish often, and tell a lot of stories and jokes.
Fenton, JP and Carl spend as much time at Rainbow Bend as their semi-retired schedules will allow. Hailing from Florida, Michigan and Colorado, these three men and their families call Rainbow Bend their 'real home.'
Brooke Cottongim purchased this house in 2002
After too many fly fishing trips to Montana, they realized they could call a place their own and designed and custom built the home themselves (along with some local help). Each detail is well thought out and the home is designed for VACATION and large, loud groups.
Mountain setting, riverfront, log home, open floor plan, spacious entertaining and living areas, wrap-around decks and patios
This was my second stay at Rainbow Bend. Hummingbirds on the deck, wild horses across the stream, deer in the yard and complete peace all around. The cabin is amazing. You feel at home as soon as you walk in the door with plenty of room to relax, spend time with your family and friends and unwind. It's an easy drive to several drop in points along the Yellowstone RIver, Chico, Livingston and Yellowstone Park itself. This year, we discovered several trail heads a bit further down the road that we can't wait to explore next year. I've stayed in rental properties throughout the country and inevitably it seems as though some amenity is missing. Not the case here. There is a full collection of cookware and other kitchen necessities, plenty of entertainment, comfortable beds and linens. The views are also gorgeous rain or shine. We are already planning our next trip and wouldn't consider staying anywhere else.
This place is great! Close to Yellowstone National park! Great restaurants! Chico's hot springs! Floating the river was fantastic. If you are looking for a great/relaxing get-a-way, go to Rainbow Bend! It's peaceful and the views from the cabin are amazing! Highly recommend this vacation home!
Met friends here for our first trip to this part of the country. In a nutshell; Wow, we need to go back and I would stay at Rainbow Bend again!
Brooke was a bit flustered when we showed up early, miscommunication on our part, but she was cheerful and introduced us to Rainbow Bend and Montana. The house is a great place for a group to spread out; from dominos at the table, cards, star gazing on the back deck or watching the deer scamper across the grounds, a very relaxing place.
We loved listening to Mill Creek at night. Tried out a few local restaurants, spent a few days touring Yellowstone and had a great time. Love this place and hope to meet friends there again. This might even become one of our annual get together spots?
Such a lovely, comfortable home. I still miss sleeping with the door open for the fresh air and the sound of the creek.
The house is beautifully and comfortably furnished. Great kitchen. The outdoor deck areas are perfect for visiting, reading, napping, or watching the hummingbirds and wildlife that continually parades through the property. Star watching in the early morning from the deck was unbelievable!
Would love to return one day!
I and my friends and family traveled from the east coast for the first time to Montana. We had heard about the area and chose this place and we were very glad we did. Great location to access Yellowstone, Glacier Park and the Grand Tetons. Easy access to groceries, restaurants and fishing.
My husband and I loved this place!!! It was so beautifully furnished and had everything one would want in a cabin for a week. Kitchen was well stocked with every appliance you might need. The rooms were spacious and clean. The deck with the view of the stream and wildlife was extremely relaxing. We will be going back soon. The location was a dream and we can't wait to return.
