Good Value Lodging in Residential Area

Stayed here for a week in January 2013. The place offers excellent value for the dollar in an area where typical hotel lodgings are pricey. The location is on a quiet side street and is within walking distance of the Coral Gables “downtown” area. It is also near the golf course and there are plenty of opportunities to walk and enjoy the scenery. All in all a good experience and would consider staying here again.

We have stayed here on more than one trip to Coral Gables on visits to our son at the U of Miami and highly recommend it for anyone who enjoys a peaceful, tropical setting close to the U, Miracle Mile, golf, or sight seeing around the Gables. Jude & Patrick (as well as Lucy & Frodo) are gracious owners who give you space to enjoy the property but willing to provide any tips on the area or whatever you need. We have found the cottage to be comfortable, clean, and all that we need for our visits. If our son wasn't graduating this year, we would definitely return in the future.

My husband and I (plus small dog) stayed at the cottage in February. It was clean and very comfortable. The owners go out of their way to make sure you have all you need. We sat and read by the pool. The weather was ideal, sunny and hot. There's a golf course nearby and nice restaurants as well. Would definitely recommend this small intimate cottage.

Peaceful spot in a lovely town

My wife and I spent a week here in March. The location was ideal and the cottage with a pool was a refreshing and peaceful break from a busy two weeks taking care of our grandchildren. The cottage is small but clean and pleasant. There is wireless internet and it was pleasant to sit and read by the pool.
We enjoyed walking and biking throughout the town. The refrigerator and coffee maker allowed us to have a convenient breakfast in the cottage, although we became addicted to grabbing a cafe con leche whenever we passed a Cuban cafe. All in all a very pleasant week.
