Just minutes from Marineland and historic St. Augustine, not to mention golf, the beach, shopping, and restaurants, Tidelands 1625 is perfectly located for a fun-in-the-sun vacation. Given how fabulous the condo and the resort are, however, you may be tempted to never leave the grounds!

Spacious and beautifully decorated, Tidelands 1625 is a three-bedroom condo on the second floor, overlooking a lake. The roomy porch is furnished with a 2 chairs, loveseat and a coffeee table, so that you can enjoy an early-morning cup of coffee while watching the birds “fish” for their breakfast or gather everyone out here for a late dinner as the sun sets behind the old-growth oak and palmetto palm trees.

Because the porch opens out from the living room, you can also enjoy the view of the lake from the marvelously plush and plump sofa—assuming you’re not watching a movie on the large HDTV, surfing the web via our free wireless access, or engaging in a spirited game with the gang. Included is free Netflix, Amazon Prime and Crackle for additional viewing pleasure

The living room flows into the dining area, which in turn is adjacent to the kitchen. The open floor plan makes Tidelands 1625 perfect for families with kids: You can easily keep an eye on what the little ones are doing without falling on top of one another.

In fact, because there’s a second dining area, a sun-drenched breakfast nook on the other side of the kitchen, you can even enjoy a grownups-only meal should you want a break. Serve the teens and tweens in the breakfast area, then savor some wine and quiet conversation over dinner in the dining room—everyone’s happy!

As for the kitchen itself, it’s just as well appointed as the rest of Tidelands 1625. The appliances are brand-new, from a huge refrigerator and freezer with water and ice in the door to a blender for whipping up frosty beverages. Gleaming granite countertops make working in the kitchen much more enjoyable, and complete sets of cookware, dishes, and utensils mean that you can prepare and serve just about anything. There’s even a dishwasher, because doing the dishes isn’t anyone’s idea of vacation fun.

When it's time to get some sleep, you'll be so glad you chose Tidelands 1625. The bedrooms were designed with the sole purpose of optimal relaxation and rest. The master bedroom includes a king-size bed, an HDTV for those late-night movie marathons, and a generous closet. A sunny room, its light cream tones are very soothing—responsible for many a morning lie-in!

The master bathroom has an en-suite bath, with his-and-her sinks, a gorgeously tiled walk-in shower, and all the space you could ask for. Remember, all towel sets as well as linens, blankets, and pillows are provided at Tidelands 1625—no need to waste suitcase space with bedding and towels.

The second bedroom has a queen-size bed; the third bedroom has a sofa that opens to become a comfy bed that sleeps two. The second bathroom, equipped with both a bathtub and a shower, is convenient to both of these bedrooms.

You’ll find the rest of the gated community as luxurious and peaceful as your condo. The famed Intracoastal Waterway is just yards away, with lakes, lagoons, canals, and miles of walking and biking trails. There are not one but two beautiful pools, ringed by palm trees and surrounded by chaises, tables, and chairs for lazing in the sun or relaxing under an umbrella. And the kids will love the game room in the Tidelands clubhouse; it has foosball and air hockey tables, among other activities.

Whether your ideal vacation entails lazing by the pool, biking along the intracoastal, running on the beach, or simply relaxing with a book and a drink, you’ll be able to do it, and plenty more, during your stay at Tidelands 1625. My name is Steve Milo and I stay in Vacation Rental Homes when I travel both domestically and abroad. I own several vacation rental homes and listen carefully to our guests and their feedback and then opened my company Vacation Rental Pros in 2006! Our greatest compliment is when our guests refer our web site to their friends and relatives. AND, now Vacation Rental Pros is managing over 825 properties in Ft Myers Beach, Orlando, St Augustine Beach, Daytona Beach, Palm Coast and Ponte Vedra Beach. Our guests and their great 'word of mouth' have helped us expand to over 825+ vacation rentals. We booked over 15,000 rentals and received over 5,000 guest reviews in 2014.
We have newly become a family, we brought together a total of 5 children to our relationship. This was the first vacation for all of us together. We went online n found this spot, we felt that this was goin to b just what we were looking for and needed. It was absolutely perfect for us. We had a wonderful time and can't wait to go back. Everyone was very helpful and nice, the only glitch we had was they have us down from Dethpaga, Tn. But we are from Bethpage, Tn.! Lol we have had a good laugh over that one. Thanks to all the management and employees we has a great time and hope to come back soon!
This place is like home, The spacious, open floorplan with the kitchen fully equipped with new appliances and all of the comforts of home while the bright, cheerful, spacious living area features a walkout to a nice panoramic view from the deck. Highly recommended. Great team to work with at VRP.. they make "Vacation Planning" easy. Thanks Team for your help. Looking forward to coming back!
We stayed in this apartment from January 10 to January 17, 2011. Although we love the area, this apartment was a bit of a disappointment. Because it had been empty since the middle of October, 2010 it was NOT clean--it was obvious the place had not been dusted for some time. The balcony was especially dirty with bird poo all over the place. There was even a dead frog in one of the chairs. If the condos are going to be empty for this length of time, then they need to be inspected and cleaned before guests arrive. However, thanks to Mel who came to clean up the mess. She did her best to clean what she could, which was pretty good.
We also had no phone service. If I hadn't had my cell phone, we would have had no service for emergencies. Do NOT give us a phone number and then no phone service. I will give credit to the property manager for promptly coming out to fix a door handle--but why did you call and leave me a message on my HOME number when you had my cell number? Of course we didn't get the message until we returned home.
We will probably book again next year. However, we will NOT be so accommodating as to the conditions of our accommodations in the future.
There were alot of things wrong with the condo when we arrived but after a few days we called the house keeping manager and he took care of everything right away. He was very helpful. The pool should be open later, people are on vacation and 9pm is very early if you want to swim after going out for dinner. I liked the location and would consider staying here again but in a condo facing the ocean.
beds were not comfortable; mattresses seemed to be very old and uncomfortable
Great place to stay! Very nice! The only problem we had was some rude guest...you could barely even tiptoe or talk past 10pm, if you did so, we had people banging on our doors telling us to quiet down. That was crazy, and uncalled for...besides this we had a great time.
