You’ll rarely find another 4-bedroom penthouse with such perfect beach views, let alone one so brand, sparkly new. Sand Dollar I 502 is an especially big unit on Crescent Beach with four full bedrooms and a sleeper sofa – so bring a group of up to 10 guests. With elevator access this 5th floor penthouse suits your entire family, both grandparents or babies in strollers, everybody!

An immense living room has a full wall of windows, with nothing between you and the beach. Three full couches and two armchairs offer everyone their ‘favorite spot’, yet a genius floor-plan separates the area into two spaces: you do your thing, they’ll do theirs – everyone’s happy.

Sitting pretty (and shiny) after a total remodel, the kitchen is a beautiful space in which to practice perfection. Revel in magazine-kitchen details: there’s a porcelain farmhouse sink, large pantry cupboard and new stainless steel appliances.

If not on the beach or at the pool, you’ll likely enjoy much of your time out on the ocean-front balcony. Access it from either the living room or your master bedroom (both of which have Blu-Ray).

Ready to see and do? Take the elevator downstairs where private beach access will keep your whole family smiling from sunrise (or a more palatable time of your choosing). Crescent Beach is renowned on Florida’s Atlantic coast for being especially suited to families and its gorgeous, soft white sand. It’s perfect, too, for boogie boarding and swimming.

Sand Dollar is right on the water at a particularly narrow piece of land. If you spread your arms wide enough you might touch both the Atlantic Ocean and the Matanzas intracoastal at once. As such, this condo is ideal for those who love watersports (or have always wanted the time to try), with endless day-trip possibilities and wildlife galore. Should you ever tire of the beach, a sidewalk runs along the intracoastal and makes a great sunset walk. Tennis, too, is easy to squeeze in any time with fully lit facilities.

Ideally located for quick and easy errands, the Sand Dollar complex is within a 5-mile radius of every imaginable shop and amenity: find restaurants, coffee shops and pubs, plus book stores (for your beach reading) and pharmacies (should you need more sunscreen).

Fort Matanzas National Monument is just down the road (5-10 minutes’ drive) and nature-lovers might, with luck and patience, see the osprey and turkey vultures who call the fort home.

Imaginative kids will delight in staying on a stretch of the Matanzas River called ‘Devil’s Elbow’, as you spend your vacation exploring St. Augustine’s pirate past. Imagine the pirate bedtime stories you can enjoy here (they’ll never notice they’re learning!). As for your R&R, this gorgeous condo has not only new furniture throughout, but also the fine linens of a five-star hotel.
My name is Steve Milo and I stay in Vacation Rental Homes when I travel both domestically and abroad. I own several vacation rental homes and listen carefully to our guests and their feedback and then opened my company Vacation Rental Pros in 2006! Our greatest compliment is when our guests refer our web site to their friends and relatives. AND, now Vacation Rental Pros is managing over 825 properties in Ft Myers Beach, Orlando, St Augustine Beach, Daytona Beach, Palm Coast and Ponte Vedra Beach. Our guests and their great 'word of mouth' have helped us expand to over 825+ vacation rentals. We booked over 15,000 rentals and received over 5,000 guest reviews in 2014.
Our 8 day stay was great:the fenced area worked well with the dog as we didn't have to worry about her wandering off. All the neighbors friendly, and although beach access somewhat difficult to get to, we enjoyed the water. Garbage collection day somewhat confusing? Where do you put the cans-outside the fence, & what's recyclable in the community? Kitchen was well supplied and the fact that the fridge had an ice-maker was a bonus. Living area very spacious. We had a super time, and would definitely go back!
Top part of window in master bedroom fell out and we had to prop it in with a board. Bathrooms are small. We loved the living area.
The bathroom off the master bedroom was very small, but that was my only complaint.

From Sea Biscuit you could see and hear the ocean all of the time. You had to walk a ways to get to the beach - but that was okay too. The house had necessary items. It was very easy to navigate to and in an ideal location.

Cell phone reception was not good, but they had free wi-fi which worked good for us.

It's off the beaten path - but close enough not to be too far from anything.

We and our dogs had a very relaxing week running on the beach and watching the sun rise. The dryer broke down, but it was relaced within 48 hours. Next door neighbor was very nice. It is a ways from town, but we enjoyed the less crowded beaches.
Twin beds very uncomfortable & should be replaced. A kettle would be helpful. Otherwise ... fantastic!
