I live in the building and was deeply impressed by the architectural design and how wonderful it is to stay here.
610 Johnson St. is not only a beautiful, historic building, but it's situated in one of the best parts of the city. Seconds to the inner harbor and the best shopping and restaurants, and short drives to some of the most beautiful beaches on the west coast it's location is amazing. Le Spa Sereine, which is operated and run by my family, is located on the same block as the suite and if you mention you're staying you'll receive a 10% discount on treatments or products.
My family and I wanted to get away for a few days in September and we got lucky and found this amazing place in the heart of downtown Victoria. I've travelled quite a bit for my work in the film industry and have had the pleasure of staying in amazing places. This place ranks up there with 5 star hotels for cleanliness and amenities. Not to mention again the amazing location with awesome restaurants and tourist sites in walking distance.
Not sure what the reviewer James was talking about, my kids are 4, 3, and 1 and they slept peacefully through the night, with the windows OPEN, on a busy weekend in Victoria. And when it got a bit chilly, we shut the windows and the noise was near completely gone!
The price is too low for a place of this calibre. My family and I will definitely being staying here next time we come to Victoria.
Finally, I have to acknowledge the owner, Ryan. What an awesome guy! He was waiting for us before we got there, took us to the parking lot, then offered to help us with our luggage! Who does that! Once we got situated in the place, he gave us a tour, explained everything thoroughly, even got us fresh linens out of the closet. He gave us his number to call him if we have any issues or questions. I texted him to get his recommendation on a restaurant only to get like 5 recommendations of world class restaurants back.
I'd give this place 6 stars if I could, the owner was caring and helpful, the place was awesome, and we couldn't have asked for a better experience for a young family.
We stayed here for 2 nights on 4th of July long weekend. The condo is very modern and has a contemporary interior design. The location is right in the heart of downtown, so is very convenient for sight seeing in Victoria. Several good restaurants are within walking distance. There is gated parking and the building has security codes for the elevator, so it was quite safe. We really enjoyed staying here and would highly recommend it to others.
My wife and I stayed in this well-located condo in downtown Victoria for the month of February. It's a comfortable, spacious suite with a user-friendly kitchen in a renovated downtown historic building. The street can get a bit noisy late at night, particularly on the weekend, so if you have low tolerance for this bring ear plugs or turn on the fan at night. The building itself was very quiet. The free gated parking is handy. We had an issue early on in our stay with getting a second front door key for the building, but Ryan did come through after a few days of waiting. We would stay here again.
We stayed at this place first week of October. Ryan was very helpful and flexible on the arrival time. The condo is very spacious and was more than enough for three adults. We really liked the "cheater's" bathroom and a little office area. Condo had absolutely everything that we could possibly need. Very clean, very modern. Will definitely stay there again.
My wife and I stayed here for 3 nights. The condo was modern and well stocked. The location is fabulous as you could walk anywhere you want to go. The location however comes at a price. There is a lot of traffic that goes up Johnson Street even during the middle of the night. The windows are not new in the condo so they do not block much noise. To compound the traffic noise during the night people camp in the store fronts of the shops below on either side of the street. All through the night there was yelling and barking that kept us up. The final blow was from inside the building. The door did not keep out much noise as the yelling of the tenants coming home in the early hours of the morning was very clear. We would definitely stay here again if it were not for the noise from outside and inside the building.
Stayed for a week and didn't want to leave.
Owner was easy to deal with and accommodating and answered questions promptly.

So if you want a clean, well stocked, modern and spacious vacation rental...Look no further.

Airport shuttle drops you off/picks you up just up the street at the Carlton Plaza Hotel.
This brilliant apartment is situated in the heart of downtown, surrounded by trendy venues, shopping and good eats and is walking distance to pretty much everything. Truly a convenient location if you want to be entertained, check out a tour or two or just walk down to the wharf and enjoy the sights.
In conclusion...I'd highly recommend this jem for your stay in Victoria! Enjoy!
