Perfect Mountain Getaway for Golf, Hiking and Relaxation

My wife, daughter and I spent a perfectly relaxing week’s vacation in this beautiful home. We were greeted by the property manager who welcomed us to the home and provided information about the area. She even brought us an area hiking map because she knew we were interested in hiking. The house itself has a beautifully finished interior with all the finest furniture, fixtures and kitchen utensils. I fell in love with the house the minute I walked in the door. I can't wait to share it with other members of my family. I know my son and grandchildren will love it as well.
The area has a lot to offer. We took golf lessons and golfed at Graeagle Meadows Golf Course. One of many golf courses in the area. Both the lessons and greens fees were reasonably priced. You will have to share the golf course with the wild deer that roam the area freely.
About 30 minutes from the house are high rocky mountains and mountain lakes. We hiked to the Sierra Buttes Lookout Tower one day. If a 58 yr old man in my condition can make the hike most people can. Search for "Sierra Buttes Lookout tower" on YouTube to see what a spectacular hike it is. Get the book "Feather River Country Adventure Trails - 101 Fun Hikes..." by Tom DeMund before you go. It's a great hiker's guide to the area.
Saturday evening we had dinner at the Sardine Lake Lodge. We started by renting a row boat with an electric motor to cruise the lake before dinner. It's a high mountain lake with breath taking views of the Sierra Buttes. We then had cocktails with other dinners in a gazebo on the lake. That was followed by dinner in a rustic lodge.
Between golf and hiking we managed to visit a few art galleries and buy some great art work.
Most evenings we used gas grill to BBQ outside. It's so relaxing to have dinner at the house after an active day.
