Looking through all these other properties you will notice that most are on the fifth or ninth floor of a mega resort. Do you really want to come in off the beach with all your gear only to get on an elevator to your unit as someone else is leaving in dress clothes to go out. Walk a few steps from beach chair to sofa in this unique small resort setting without fighting the crowds at the pool or on the beach.
You've found it - home! This is the ONLY listing for this resort you will find of the thousands you will have searched through. Our resort will make you feel like you live here being directly on the beach in the heart of New Smyrna Beach. Ocean Sands Beachclub is unsurpassed in every way including our:
"Sleep Number" beds.....as seen on TV
Wireless Internet connection
Handicap accessible ground floor units promote easy access with every step from luggage to beach chairs into this private entrance walk-in condominium. Constructed legally as close as possible to the ocean, you can see the kids on the beach while sitting on your bed, sofa, or porch. See the floor plan of the unit below.
Since this beach is a nesting ground for Seaturtles, it is a protected area which limits traffic and there is not a light anywhere near the beach. This makes for a nature filled DARK secluded beach with a ceiling of bright stars you would only find on a deserted island. Here you will walk into this star filled moonlit postcard scene at your doorstep.
Without any large resorts nearby the beachfront is empty and quiet. Walk south on the beach 250 feet to find Chases beachside Tiki bar and restaurant. Walk across the street for Manny's Pizza which appeals to all ages. See my detailed GOOGLE map below with sites near-by, also see how close to the ocean our buildings sit compared to our neighbors. Other resident beachgoers south of you live out of the way and must drive by the resort to exit, almost 5 miles when they want to travel out.
Location: Ocean Sands Beach Club Resort is located at 3208 Hill Street New smyrna Beach, Florida 32169 (an actual sand road) at the intersection of 22nd Street. Conveniently located one mile from the only bridges which access the mainland routes.
The city itself is the best-kept secret for beach lovers with emphasis being on maintaining a beachside community and not the almighty tourist dollar. There really isn't any traffic here since it's not a tourist-laden city, and even has laws to prohibit any further commercialization efforts. The ruckus at Daytona Beach is a few minutes away and not at your doorstep. Our city is more for families, retirees, or anyone looking for a quiet, relaxing atmosphere.
See all the sites on my map below, everything is near-by. Click the satellite tab at the top and then zoom the map in to see how OSBC almost appears to sit in the ocean. Look north and south......see how my neighbors are built back 100 feet from us! We are the closest property to the ocean you will find.
Rare to find a small oceanfront resort like OSBC offering the old florida charm being lost to developers. Remember as a child the road trips to this wonderland called Florida? The roadside attractions, palm trees and the quaint motel with the pink flamingos out front seemed endless. Most are gone, even the palm trees were moved to make room for destructive monster beachfront development buring memories and the charm we knew.
Anyone can relive that lost experience here (except the flamingos)and get away from the crowd.
The city is truly in the middle of it all with Daytona Beach 30 minutes north with all its whirlwind of activities (fortunately not at your front door), Orlando with all its theme parks and activities in itself can take a week to explore is only 1 hour away, To the south 1 hour is Kennedy Space Center and Cape Canaveral for deep sea fishing, cruise ships, and NASA tours and launches, Locally sea turtles hatch until September and dolphins play in the surf, Cook fresh seafood on your BBQ grill, or my favorite - open my bedroom window at night to hear only the roar of the surf - you are that close to the ocean!
