Keywords: Beautiful house with modern eat-in kitchen, large dining room that seats 10, open and enclosed porches for ocean viewing, comfortable and cozy feeling.
Wonderful views of the Bay and lighthouse especially from the balcony of the master bedroom of this beachside survivor of the 1938 hurricane.
The lovely accommodation is family traditional, well appointed and generous (6+ bedrooms). It absorbed our British daughters' wedding party of 10 happily with plenty of escape room.
The attentive owners fixed any challenges and the breakfasts at Doreen's 'Broken Yolk' diner were humungous and memorable.
Highly recommended in every way. White sands for the kids. Only wished we could have stayed longer.
Ten of us stayed here for our ten-year CGA reunion-- and this home helped to make the long weekend epic. The house is beautiful both inside and out and shares a unique history with the USCG. We had plenty of room, the kitchen has all the amenities, the dining room table seats at least 10. We enjoyed coffee on the sunny breakfast porch, and cocktails in the lawn chairs 20 steps from the ocean. This place actually has 2 half bathrooms & one full bath--it worked just fine for us. We highly recommend this property for graduations or parents weekend; we chose to stay in Neptune beach because many of our classmates were also able to rent places the immediate area. Our group intends to return to this home in the future--we just absolutely loved every minute of our stay. The owners were a delight to work with and even decorated the house with festive autumn pumpkins and gourds. Thank you, Gail & Mary, for everything!
