This was a clean, well-stocked studio in a terrific location -- a few blocks from the tennis courts and only a few more to the lovely beach and a few from Lincoln Road and only a couple from Espanola Way . A few areas for improvement -- it needs dark curtains on all the windows as we had to put a towel over one window to get any sleep at all (there are curtains on the big window). The refrigerator pictured is full size, whereas the one we found upon arrival was tiny. At first the air conditioning didn't work, but the owner fixed that immediately. Also, the dishwasher (great to have!) kind of fell out of the cabinets when you opened it, but worked fine. Also, the washer/dryer combination (great to have!) didn't work properly (we did not ask the owner to have it fixed, which I'm sure he would have done). And the bed is a platform with a thin mattress which can be a problem if you have a bad back (that's me). All in all, though, it was clean and quiet and we would certainly stay there again, hoping for a few changes (including maybe a coffee maker?). I sound very picky, but we spent a very happy week here. It looks like 3 stars, but I'd give it a 3.5, heading toward a 4 due to the location!
