INCREDIBLE 6600SQFT LOG STYLE HOME - STUNNING VIEWS & FEATURES

Estes Park House Rental Photos and Description

House, 7 Bedrooms + Other (See Description), 4 Baths, (Sleeps 0)

If you want an extraordinary mountain home in Estes Park that is perfect for families and has tons of room (not to mention absolutely stunning views)... look no further. We are now booking for summer 2015. There are still a fall dates open so inquire now!

OVERALL HOME: With over 6600sqft in living space, this log style two story home is one of the largest and nicest rental homes in all of Colorado. It is situated on over one acre natural lot with trees, rock outcroppings, and abundant wildlife. It is on a paved street and has a large paved circular driveway. Including the master suite, it features 8 bedrooms, 4 baths, 3 living/sitting areas, 2 fireplaces, a game room, over 2400 sqft in decks, and yes… even a one-of-a-kind indoor basketball court!!!

THE VIEWS: The house is situated right at the base of the continental divide and is surrounded by panoramic views of Twin Sister's (13,000'+), Long's Peak (14'000'+), and the continental divide itself. Most of the view is of Rocky Mountain National Park peaks.

THE BEDDING SET-UP: Yes... eight bedrooms! Enough for everyone to have their own. And they are all very nice size...all larger than the average bedroom and all with larger than average closets. The bedrooms feature the following bedding set-ups all with themed décor that match native animals in the park including master(king), elk(king), bear(king), bear cub(2 twins), mountain lion(queen), trout(2 twins), and moose(queen).

THE MAIN LIVING AREA: The huge professional kitchen features granite counters, maple wood cabinets, double oven, professional series separate refrigerator and freezer, desk area with wirless internet, and a unique outdoor kitchen (10’ by 10’ upper deck with built-in 8ft stainless steel grill – just outside the main kitchen through glass French doors). The main living room features lots of open space with comfortable furniture, a billiards area, a nostalgic winter sports décor, and a large screen TV/fireplace/200+ DVD library all built into a dramatic slate wall.

SPECIAL FEATURES: The over 2400 sqft+ in decks (three upper and two lower connected with a wood bridge) feature an outdoor ping pong table, a large hot tub, wood/log furniture including gliders and swings, and 2 picnic tables. Also outside is a very nice horseshoe court, and a 1800's rustic trail wagon. Other features include a 2.5 story atrium with bear water fountain, a 2nd living room with fireplace, up to 4 bathrooms, and a two car garage.

INCREDIBLE MASTER SUITE: 1000sqft master suite is It features the master bedroom (with king bed, built in TV, desk, sitting area, and 2.5 story ceiling), a deluxe wet bar (with granite counter, double sink, small fridge, and maple cabinets), an amazing master bathroom (with huge garden tub and large extended tiled area with 4 shower heads), and a private deck (with log swing).

THE WILDLIFE: And despite the excellent all around qualities of the home, the best feature may just be the wildlife. Sited on the property have been coyotes, foxes, marmots, ground squirrels, black bears, and literally hundreds of birds and mule deer. And of course too numerous to mention... the herds of elk. As a matter of fact, over 50 elk were counted on the property at one time (actually multiple times!).

We are a family of 5 and we love to be active and surrounded by nature. Wether it be the mountains, ocean or the desert, we enjoy visiting new places and meeting new people.

The Owner purchased this house in 2011

We visited Estes Park in 2011 and decided we eventually wanted to live here. An opportunity arose for us to purchase a home. We decided we had to have a piece of paradise for ourselves.

Simply one of the best locations in one of the most beautiful mountain towns in the country, The home is located between the downtown of Estes Park and the main entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park. The setting is natural and park-like itself with abundant wildlife passing through year round. Even with limitless outdoor activities in the area, there are also extensive activities in the house including: ping-pong, billiards, and over 2000 sqft in decks with views that are just plain stunning!

Fabulous Family Weekend

Our family of 12 recently rented this property for a Holiday gathering. Everything was perfect for this type of event! Cooking in the kitchen was a delight, enjoyed the gigantic table for family dining, the fireplace was cozy with the fresh fallen snow, lots of room for kids to play, nice bathrooms and plenty of towels for everyone! Our favorite was the unexpected visitors. 4 huge Elk and 6 Deer who grazed around house! Our family voted this property #1 and definetly plan to go back!

Thanksgiving in Estes

Each Thanksgiving our growing family gets together and it is getting increasingly difficult to find a place with enough space (both bedrooms, bathrooms and living space) to accommodate everyone. This home has it all with room to spare!
The kids rarely made it out of the basketball court and game room and when the grandparents got worn out from chasing the little ones, there was plenty of rooms to seek respite.
We cooked a large Thanksgiving feast in the open kitchen and the large dining area let everyone eat together; no kids table needed (or wanted).

Julie was very helpful not only with the house arrangements but with the area. Our family can't wait to go back!

Million Dollar Views indeed!

This is our 6th year staying in this house with 3 other families and our children. After the recent flooding in Estes Park, we were a little worried about whether or not we would be able to even get to Estes this year. With the 2 main roads closed from flooding, the drive over the Peak to Peak highway is a little longer (about an extra 30 min. from the Denver Metro area). However, if you have to take a detour, it's not a bad way to go! The views are spectacular and the road is in good shape and not nearly as windy as Trail Ridge Road.

Once we arrived in Estes, we found the vast majority of businesses to be open and ready for visitors. Over and over we had business owners thanking us for coming up and asking us to tell our friends to do the same!

The house itself is perfect for our 4 families. There is so much for the kids to do and space for kids to get away from others when needed. Whether they are playing basketball or ping pong; working on a puzzle or going for a walk, no one is ever bored here! The house was also cleaner than it had been in recent years as well and we found the new gas fire pit on the deck to be a nice new feature. The house is centrally located between downtown Estes and Rocky Mountain National Park, so if you are looking for something to do outdoors, or somewhere to shop, you are minutes away from both! If you choose to stay in, the deck is large enough for everyone to gather around the fire pit and watch the sunset over Long's Peak!

This house has helped our families create lasting memories for us and our children and is part of a lasting tradition for us all.

This home is located right between Rocky Mountain National Park and downtown Estes Park. On the back deck you look out to see Longs Peak and the mountain range that surrounds this 14,255 peak. The home is equipped with everything you need including an indoor basketball court for the rainy days. The owners are easy to deal with and you will have a family vacation you will not regret. A great place to grow closer to the Lord Jesus Christ personally and corporately.

Celebrating 50th Anniversary

We traveled from IA, AZ, MN and NE for a week in this beautiful house. When we moved in, we felt right at home and enjoyed all the amenities this home offered. The kitchen was very well equipped for a large group. The bedrooms were large and we loved the dinning table which seated 14 people. We enjoyed seeing the Elk travel past the home morning and evening. In the house, we enjoyed the pool table, game room, basketball court, hot tub, horseshoe court and living room (to go through). In the community we all thought the river rafting and shopping were hard to beat. An excellent brewery tour in Ft. Collins is the New Belgium Brewery. Julie was very easy to work with and ,would recommend this home to anyone.
