Birches Lodge is an Adirondack Style Lodge situated on beautiful Mirror Lake. A 5 minute walk has you enjoying Main Street in Lake Placid with shops, restaurants and beautiful scenery.

Birches Lodge amenities include new upgraded kitchen, formal dining room, fireplace in the great room as well a paddle boat and canoe to explore the lake. Enjoy the lake from the sandy beach and dock for swimming and boating, the hot tub on the deck or ice skating in the winter.

Birches Lodge is close to all the attractions of the Olympic Region, including the Olympic Jumping Center, Mt. Von Hoevenberg Bobsled/Skeleton and Luge tracks, Whiteface and Gore Mountain Ski Areas.

Living in Clifton Park, NY my wife and I often visit Lake Placid, normally staying in a hotel. This time we opted to rent a home for a long weekend with her two brothers and their wives. This home is just great. It is wonderfully decorated, clean, and has just about anything that one could ask for with respect to its contents. With respect to it's position on the lake, it is just incredible. All one has to do is to stand in the back of the house to know why this lake is named "Mirror Lake". Aside from its tastefully decorated interior, and its spectacular view of Lake Placid, it is only a short walk to town. As a frequent traveler, and renter of vacation homes, you can't go wrong selecting this rental. Plus the owners are wonderful with whom to work. We will be returning for another long weekend in the Spring.

We just loved this home. It was well kept, clean and furnished with a big screen that came in handy during the Summer Olympics. Kitchen was well furnished.

Our group of 2 families rented the lodge for Christmas 2010. The house is very well appointed and spotless. The kitchen was very well-equipped. Plenty of room and a great layout for everyone. Loved that we could walk into town or walk around the lake.
