Enjoy family time on the wrap around porch in the rocking chairs or the hot tub while viewing the Smokies from English Mountain to Mount LeConte (third highest peak in the Smoky Mountains) to Ober Gatlinburg or escape to the private deck off the master suite for relaxing in the swing.

About The Owner

Ralph and Diane Parten are the owners and "beartakers" of The Cozy Bear. We live in this neck of the woods, too. So, you can be "beary" confident that this cabin is not being managed from a distance by an absentee landlord.

Getting away from it all can be the most relaxing vacation experience. It almost makes you want to hibernate!

Ralph & Diane want you to know that they look forward to meeting you and are close by to answer your questions or assist you with the "bear" necessites.

We had a ball loved the house... and will rent it again... although when it started snowing I was worried.. but now I wish we had got more..

We had a good time, excellent view nice cabin. Only had couple of problems fireplace no work and hot tub quit working outside. but still was fun for all.

We enjoyed our stay at the Cozy Bear cabin. It was clean, convenient, and cozy. We especially enjoyed the hot tub on the front porch. The views were absolutely breath taking.

Ralph and Diane are very very easy to work with from check-in to check-out. They were quick to correct/repair a sudden AC problem. We highly recommend this property belonging to Ralph and Diane.

Thanks for sharing your beautiful mountain cabin with our family. Wonderful bear theme decor throughout the cabin, roomy floorplan, plenty privacy (but could hear train whistle from DollyWood Park), and a nice view (could see July 4th fireworks show of Pigeon Forge AND Gatlinburg. Enjoyed the wildlife (an owl, a beautiful woodpecker, a large bunny rabbit, and a hugh groundhog/woodchuck).

Oustanding weekend

We spent 3 nights at this beautiful cabin. The cabin is decorated with a bear theme through out and is simply gorgeous. The views from both porches was so awesome. The cabin had everything we needed. We met the owners and they are very sweet and kind. We will definately stay here again.
