Beautiful home located in 'the village' overlooking the town docks. Graciously appointed 2150 sq ' with open plan living area. Stunning water views landscaped gardens.

Saturday farmers market on the green across the street. Great playground across the green. Honor system fish market right next door. Sandy beach within walking distance. Many fine restaurants within walking distance.

November - April ............ $5000/month $1500/week

May June Sept Oct..........$6000/month $1800/week

July August ...................$8000/month $2400/week

all rentals require a $500 security deposit and a $200 cleaning fee

One week minimum stay July & Aug

all other months minimum stay is 4 nights

About the Owner: Ed & I have been living out of the country since 1991, first in Singapore for ten years then in the United Kingdom for seven and we are now back in tropical Singapore. We love our life abroad but we very much look forward to retirement and being able to enjoy our home on a full time basis.

Why the Owner Chose Stonington:

Stonington is a wonderful village with an eclectic mix of people.

The Unique Benefits at this House: My favorite things? Well, there's sitting on the deck and watching the scallop boats come in, watching a beautiful sunset from the den , walking down to 'the point' and swimming at DuBois beach, then there is 'The Dog Watch', 'Noahs', 'Milagros', 'Water st cafe' ,'Zacks' and 'Skipper Dock' all great restaurants a stroll away, we even have 'Teresas deli' , Toms newstand and a variety of fine clothing, jewelry and antique shops. The public library is 2 blocks away and just across the street is the 'honor system' fish market, among their offerings are Stonington scallops fresh frozen at sea and the sweetest scallops I've ever tasted.

We totally enjoyed our stay in Stonington. The beautiful water view, the easy walk to restaurants and shops and the atmosphere of the entire town led to a perfect vacation getaway. The house was lovely and perfect for two couples to share. The location was a perfect one for day trips throughout the New England area, and proved to be a perfect base for these trips. I would not hesitate to rent this beautiful home again.
