This peaceful, serene, Lake Keowee waterfront home is the perfect place to relax and enjoy the lake and the beautiful surrounding area. This spacious home in a quiet cove sleeps up to 15 people and is a wonderful place for families with children. The home is located north of downtown Seneca, so is convenient to shopping, grocery stores, restaurants, Clemson University and other local attractions.
A large sunroom offers stunning views of the lake – early risers will love the gorgeous sunrises! A large outdoor deck, complete with gas grill, is the perfect place to relax with a cup of coffee in the morning or to gather the family in the late afternoon. An outdoor covered dining table allows you to enjoy the lake while you eat. Down at the water, soak up the sun or do a little fishing on the large uncovered dock. When ready to tackle the fun of the lake, a pontoon boat (included in rental rate) is available for your enjoyment. You are also welcome to dock a private boat or other watercraft, should you choose to bring them with you. Boats and other lake recreational equipment can be easily loaded into the water at Cane Creek Landing, just a minute’s drive from the house.
The home itself is a wonderful place to not only enjoy the lake but to entertain family and friends. Three upstairs bedrooms all have comfortable king beds. The master bedroom has an adjacent outdoor deck and bathroom with sky lights. Downstairs, there are 3 bedrooms and a rec room with a pool table. An outdoor lower level patio is accessible through sliding glass doors.
Extensive remodeling and upgrading have been done throughout the home. A fully-equipped kitchen has new appliances. The outdoor landscaping is kept neat and the gentle-sloping backyard is wonderful because it provides unobstructed views of the lake from the house. Truly, this home has so much to offer – whether you are simply looking to relax and unwind or if you wish to take advantage of the fun of the lake and the surrounding area, this is your ideal vacation home!

John and Kris Adair, along with their 2 daughters, are the owners of this beautiful lake home. Many fun summer weeks and Clemson game weekends have been enjoyed here at the house. They currently live in Greenville, SC where John owns an employee benefits consulting company.
Kris Adair purchased this house in 2007
Initially it was the perfect location for a second home - a great way to enjoy weekends in the summer or during Clemson football season.
Relaxation, swimming, serene views, peaceful surroundings, fishing, great restaurants nearby, convenient shopping
Our family enjoyed this rental thoroughly. We cooked in every meal, & had all we needed. The grill only cooked on low, but suited us fine. We needed to call the property mngr to get the pontoon boat started, but she returned our call within 30 minutes, & got us on our way. We, actually found the "pontoon boat directions" in the boat and put them back in the "Welcome notebook". Our family enjoyed playing frisbee & volleyball in the backyard when we weren't cruising the lake or enjoying the deck. Our time was too short, but was convenient, sunny, & all that we hoped it would be.
Our family had a wonderful time at this very spacious and welcoming lake house. A great bonus was having use of the pontoon boat included. We will definitely plan to come back to this house again!
The rental on Lake Keowee was a fun experience. I will start with the good which outnumber the bad of the rental
-Pontoon Boat included and starts right away.
-Secluded Cove to Swim in.
-Great views to Lake Keowee.
-Close to grocery/shopping in Seneca.
-Lots of refrigerator space (you can't underestimate this with lots of people)
-Large beds in many rooms
-Clean rental on arrival
-Great communication and interaction with owner
-Quick return of deposit check
Things that needs improvement
-Air conditioning system needed repair while there. System had a refrigerant leak.
-Ran out of gas for grille (had an extra tank that was empty as well)
-WiFi router was very poor (had to huddle around router for signal - if you have your own router bring it!)
-Beds are extremely soft - for me too soft but that is a preference of mine.
-TV's in bedrooms are small
All in all, I would recommend this property looking to have a good time on Lake Keowee. The property absolutely met our needs as we were out on the lake more than in the house which is why we rented the property.
We had a group of 10 adults stay the weekend of a Clemson game and the house worked out perfect for us. The house was easy to locate and very accessible to the game. It only took us about 20 minutes in game day traffic. The house was very comfortable and had plenty enough space for all of us to "do our own thing" Owner was very informative and helpful.
We thoroughly enjoyed this large lake front home. It comfortably accommodated our families and guests and the lake access and view were fabulous. The pontoon boat was an added benefit as well! We will hopefully be returning again next year.
House does have great views it also had plenty of room. We have rented houses before and this one was the least equipped. The kitchen has a blender with no top for it. A can opener that don't work. Minimal utensils. No extra spices. If your renting this house plan on bringing everything you would need for the whole recipe,They did have pans. There is not satellite tv it is basic cable. 30 Chanel's maybe. We were there when the Stanley cup playoffs were on and was not able to see our hometown Blackhawks play. Big letdown. We ended up cutting our vacation short one day. Too many bugs. Had a scorpion inside and other large bugs. Seneca looked like a dying town. Nothing to do there. Clemson looked nice. Greenville is the closest town that has anything for kids to do. It is also very pretty there. A nice surprise. The lake was very nice. And we used the pontoon boat a couple days. It is very nice. Only bad thing with it was that it took a while to go places. It's not very fast. The tiki bar restaurant on the lake was ok. Just don't plan on having any adult beverages. You have to be a member to drink. It's at the marina
