Great Holiday Get-Away

Our family of six had a wonderful stay at the Praire Creek over Thanksgiving week. We brought Thanksgiving dinner to our son who goes to college in Rapid City and wasn't able to come home for the last two years. The only things we brought from home to fix the meal was the turkey and an electric roaster oven- everything else needed to make all the fixins was supplied in the kitchen except the food, which we picked up at the grocery store in town. The home and setting was beautiful and relaxing- deer and turkeys outside the deck every morning. The location couldn't have been better as it is off the main highway and easy to get to. Also , it is centrally located to all of the Black Hills attractions with which we spent our days visiting and enjoying. Evenings were spent in front of the fireplace watching satelite tv movies and some favorite shows. Cell phone service was non-existant which was just fine for most of us ( daughter and wife were suffering from texting/ facebook withdrawal- ha ha ha). We will return again the next time we come out to visit and would highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a nice quiet getaway in the Black Hills
