My Wife and I came to this place with another couple (we are late 20's - early 30's). Walk out the back door, walk across maybe a dozen stones on the patio, and you will be overlooking the ocean. There is a deck on the house and a deck above the sand bar to the beach. The water in New Smyrna is so blue and clear, and is so much better than Daytona, Cocoa Beach, etc. This house has everything you need for your trip to the beach (Surf Fishing Rods, Beach Chairs, Beach Umbrellas, Beach Toys, Bikes, Gas Grill, great kitchen, etc.). Just show up and enjoy.
There are so many areas in this house to relax. You hear the sound of the ocean the entire trip (We left windows open and awoke to the waves every morning, its that close to the beach). I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway!!!!
I cant say enough about this place. The owners took the time to prepare information about the house and the area, gave restaurant recommendations, and were simply a delight the entire process.
