3-BDRM, 2-BATH, HEATED POOL, WALK TO ASU; 20% OFF IN SUMMER

We have just spent a month (April 2013) at this property and we can say that this place is PARADISE !!! Located in a modest quiet neighbourhood adjacent to the ASU campus and the popular Mill Ave. district, the "Pool House" is only a short drive from the airport, with access to the light rail system. As regular VRBO renters( twice in New Orleans, once in San Diego and 3 times in Phoenix), this is easily the best rental we have ever made. Not only because the house is immaculate and tastefully decorated but also of its owners, Shirley and Pete, who are intent on making your stay an enjoyable one. Three spacious bedrooms with comfortable beds, ceiling fans and televisions everywhere (even outside !!!) , large back yard with big clean heated pool, well equiped kitchen, huge spotless laundry room, etc. Shirley is truly dedicated in ensuring that all your needs/requests are taken care of and she always does so in a pleasant manner -- a super hostess !!! We also visited their other house which is located three doors down and it is just as impressive as the one we rented. We would recommend either property without hesitation. As far as getting value for money, it does not get better than this !!!!

We were in Tempe with our son and grandchildren to visit his old stomping grounds from when he went to school at ASU. What a perfect place--the pool is a godsend for active, travel weary children. The house is very nicely decorated with comfortable beds and well-stocked kitchen. The location couldn't be better and the bikes in the garage were perfect. We biked to Tempe beach, hiked the A, caught a Metra to the science center. We were in walking distance for Mill Street. The owners are extremely accommodating. We are already planning how we can visit again.

Property description and photos are accurate so won't dwell on that stuff. The house and yard are immaculate. THE POOL! I have discovered that "heated pool" can mean a lot of things that don't equal "heated pool" to me. This pool is heated to 85 degrees or more. We were in the pool every day--even during the cold snap. It is large enough to actually swim in and deep enough to tread water. There are also two TVs on the patio, so you can enrich your mind from the pool. And the pool lady comes every week to keep everything spiffy. You don't have to do anything! The location of the property is ideal. So easy to get on any freeway you need to be on. Even the ballparks that are some distance are very easy to get to from here. Lots of restaurants, etc. close by. We were lucky enough to see a broadway show at the ASU Gammage Theatre while here--it was awesome. If you are bringing your dogs, this place is ideal. The backyard is completely, securely enclosed and has a large grassy area for play. There is a nice dog park just two blocks away. We had two chihuahuas with us and they had a good time at the park and made many friends. Pete and Shirley are very invested in making sure you have a good time and are perfect hosts. They came over one evening to check on a very minor maintnenance issue we had called about. A party accidentally broke out. They are so much fun. On the day we checked out, I booked us for 3 weeks next year. Would I recommend this place to a friend? Yes, unless they want the weeks I want.
