About Jason Darley
Our family of 4 lives in Vancouver, WA and has lived in the Pacific NW for 12 years and loves it here. We have lived in most regions of the US and find the Pacific NW has so much more to offer relative to outdoor recreation that is in close proximity to your primary residence. Between kids sports, hunting, fishing, boating, surfing, wake boarding, skiing (snow and water) we keep very busy outdoors!
Jason Darley purchased this chalet in 2012
Why Jason Darley chose Government Camp
We chose to purchase the property in Government Camp because we fell in love with the town and the close proximity to the ski resorts. The location of the home allows us to walk a short distance into Govy to enjoy all it has to offer. In all seasons our location is tough to beat. As a family we primarily use the property during ski season. It is so nice to hit Meadows or Timberline in the morning and early afternoon, come back to the house and relax and then hit Ski Bowl (particularly the Warming Hut) in the evening. With a great sledding hill just behind the house our kids (and sometimes adults) spend hours sledding down the hill. The home truly provides an escape that takes us around an hour to get to from our home in Vancouver, WA.
What makes this chalet unique
Brand new home that has very nice amenities throughout. The home was designed to hold a larger group (max 13), but is also suitable for smaller groups as well. With two entertainment areas, two decks, super comfortable beds, large hot tub and a large common area this house is just plain luxurious and fun. The fact that it is a short walk into Govy makes it all the much better. We love it and based on the past years feedback so do our guests!
