We rented the lake house for a quick four day fishing trip on Chickamauga. The house was beautiful and very comfortable. Definitely better than a hotel and very convenient. Great experience!
The house was great and everything we were looking for. Troy was super easy to deal with as well. Highly recommended.
Our group, consisting of seven fishing buddies, enjoyed our second, week-long trip to Chickamauga and stayed again at this house. The accommodatios were great for our group. Beautiful home and view of the lake. Although the lake was down six feet, which is normal for March, the Sale Creek ramp is approximately 10 minutes away which made for easy lake access. The fishing was superb with two of our guys landing their personal best of 10-7 and 9-1, both released to be caught again.
Our family decided to travel to the Chattanooga area for Christmas. We had family from NC, MS and TN all travel in on Christmas day and stay through the weekend. A little over a month and a half prior to Christmas, we were without a place to stay in the Chattanooga area and we were very lucky to find this place. This house worked well for our group, which included 6 adults and 3 children, and was in great condition. The kids had a great time playing ping pong and watching movies in the in the theater room downstairs while the adults all visited upstairs in the open living area. Sale Creek is about a 30 minute drive to downtown Chattanooga, but this did not deter us from visiting a lot of attractions over the weekend, including the TN Aquarium and Rock City. I would definitely recommend this house to anyone looking for a place to accommodate a large group. In addition, the owner of the property, Troy, was great to work with. He made sure were had everything we needed and even called to check in on us to make sure everything was okay. It was good to know that he wants to make sure everyone that stays at his home enjoys themselves.
As members of a northern Virginia bass fishing club, we travel up and down the east coast fishing local lakes and rivers searching for great fisheries to fish. Lake Chickamauga is currently rated one of the best bass fisheries in the nation. We chose this lake for that reason and found this house. This house was perfect for the six of us with room for several more, the house was just as represented in the photos and in the description. This house is on a great part of the lake and the fishing is good. The driveway to the ramp was a little tight but was do able with 21 ft boats if you take your time. The house was great and better than expected, even when the fridge temporarily went in the fritz. The owner Troy was a phone call away and just happened to have another fridge on site that was working great. Troy has been nothing but a great guy to do business with and checked in with us several times to make sure everything was fine. We enjoyed the place so much that we are allready making plans for our fall trip back to the same place. We met the neighbors and they are great also. We had a nice little dog named bandit who showed up to the house everynight we cooked dinner, let's just say that little Bandit ate good that week. I would recomend this house to anyone looking to have a relaxing day or week at the lake.
We have a group of guys from Iowa, Missouri, Illinois, Kentucky and Georgia that have been doing annual early spring fishing trips for 35+ years. This was our first visit ever to Chickamauga. The homeowner, Troy, went above and beyond to make sure the house was ready and perfect for our arrival. And that it was! The house was awesome - the best accommodations we've ever had. The fishing was great too. We had largemouth of 10lbs, one 8, two 7's, several 6's and countless 5's and 4's. We also got a bonus striper estimated at 40+ lbs. Thanks, Troy, for making it one of our best trips ever. The group voted on what lake to visit next year and chose Chickamauga again. We are already looking forward to coming back to Troy's house next spring.
Bring your boat or jet ski and use our private boat dock. Boat, pontoon or jet ski may be rented at several marinas on the lake.
