This was our first time renting a house and using VRBO. We were not disappointed. The house was ideal for our family of 5 and could easily have handled a few more people and did not seem crowded. The overall layout of the house was great. I am not sure how you would do it, but the family room could use more seating. It was a plus having direct TV on three televisions. The kitchen had everything needed to prepare a meal. Nice having washer and dryer. Very clean.
Beach chairs were conveinent. Even though the pool was not right outside the door, a short walk, ride, or drive got you there easily. The pool was very nice and big. The beach was not really within in walking distance. We liked going to the public access so that we could utilize the shower and not track sand back to the house.
If you are not familar with this area, and we were not, we enjoyed the closeness of Publix, Walmart, The Donut Hole, and Shrimper's Fresh Seafood Market. We came to utilize the beach and pool, so we did not spend much time in restaurants.
We are going to give this 5 stars. The only downfall, and we knew this going in, the property is literally next 30A. Sometimes a little noisy, but acceptable.
