We have always wanted a place in the mountains that wasn't loaded with tourists. If you are wanting to unplug and enjoy the outdoors, this cabin makes for a great year round vacation location. This is a great place for creating memories. Most guests have appreciated our attention to detail.
This cabin is a wonderful getaway, surrounded by lush hills with lots to do or if you want to just relax! We have a hard time leaving once we are there.
We stayed here for 4 nights, and skied each day at Sierra At Tahoe resort. It was the perfect location for a winter getaway. The cabin is warm and cozy, with a nicely equipped kitchen. Plenty of room for my family of four, and we enjoyed the board games and air hockey table each night.
A nice secluded cabin that was wonderful. Gave us an opportunity to unwind and take life back a step and enjoy. Cabin was perfect for the two of us, yet with plenty of room for a ton more upstairs. Had everything we needed and was clean as could be! Thanks Val, we will see you again.
My wife and teenage son stayed here for three nights over the 4th of July weekend. The cabin was very comfortable and convenient. It was bigger than I expected, the kitchen was very useful and the beds comfortable. A great location to go hiking, visit the lake, or just relax. Even though there are plenty of other houses and cabins nearby, it was very quiet and private.
One tip for Summer visits: it can get warm in the cabin and there were no screens on the downstairs windows. So we opted to leave the front door open and close the locking metal screen door, and leave the bedroom door open. We also wanted to turn on the main room fan for circulation, but the wall switch was also connected to the kitchen light. So the fix was to remove the kitchen bulbs for the night. :-) With that work-around, the cabin was nice and cool for the night.
This cabin is located minutes from Sierra at Tahoe ski resort and is very close to highway 50. The cabin is very comfortable, the kitchen well equipped (it was a life saver to be able to make warm food at the end of a hard day of skiing) with appliances, utensils and china. Our two kids loved the games and the loft area, as well as the good collection of DVDs. The owner takes great pride in and responsibility for the property and it is reflected in how well the place is maintained. She is also very friendly and helpful. We hope to return again at the earliest opportunity.
This house is very cozy and is equipped with all the necessary amenities. It has plenty of utensils and comfortable bedding for 4-6 people. This place is quiet, clean and away from crowded streets of South Lake Tahoe. It is only 20 miles from South Lake Tahoe so whenever you want to go there it doesn't take long. It has plenty of DVDs and games which you enjoy during your stay.
Owner has provided detail instructions about reaching there and operating all the accessories and it was very helpful. Owner was very prompt in communication via email/phone and helpful in arranging back up cleaner after our stay so that we could stay there for all 3 nights.
The cabin is good for both summer and winter. We will definitely come here again and recommend it to our friends.
This was a great place that was perfectly located for our 3 day ski vacation. The house was cute and cozy and the kids loved the upstairs... as did the parents! There is more room than you think and the neighborhood is great. Awesome opportunity to play in the snow right behind the cabin. We were 10 minutes to the Sierra Parking lot which made our three days of skiing less exhausting. Overall, we had a great time and we will be back!
