Killington Luxury 6 Bedroom Near Skiing and Golf - Short or Long Term

I stayed in this home for a week in June, and we just had a fantastic time.

I want to be sure to call it a home, because it definitely has that feel to it; it's more than just a house. Tint and Ralph have done a great job with elegant decoration while keeping the property clean and comfortable. It shows that they spend a good deal of time in the home themselves and that they care, which is not always the case in rental properties.

We were 12 adults and one little one, and there was plenty of room; we did almost all of our own cooking, so the pro-style range (with grill and griddle), the large table, and outdoor furniture were all a great touch, as was the outdoor grill.

We happened to start our stay during a huge heat wave; so there was one uncomfortable night with no A/C in the house, but I can't imagine that there are many nights during a year where A/C would really be necessary; the rest of our week was very comfortable.

The owners were reachable, attentive, and a pleasure to deal with.

I would absolutely recommend this home to anyone who is planning to stay in the area, we had a great time here!

As soon as we arrived to the house we couldn't believe just how nice it was. The pictures do not do this house justice! There was plenty of room for our party of 16 people, including places to sleep and when eating around the dining room table/ kitchen island. The sauna in the master suite and hot tub were awesome little perks to this already spectacular house! All the bathrooms really accommodate large groups, especially when everyone needed to shower after a long day of skiing.

The kitchen area is so spacious, making it very easy to move about while cooking. The master suite is huge as well as gorgeous, with an equally gorgeous bathroom.

The owner was nothing but helpful and always got back to us right away with any questions we had. I can’t say enough great things about this place and highly recommend it. I cannot wait to rent again!

We stayed at this house for about a week from Christmas through New Year eve 2012. In short, I'd highly recommend it.

The house: the house was in excellent condition, everything feels new, everything was working. It was big and comfortable - we were six adults and six kids and we could have probably had another family or two with us. Kitchen was big, there were two big fridges for example and even a garbage compactor. The basement was like an entire apartment. The garage held two cars and was heated. More space in front of the house for more cars. House was super quiet a few minutes off the main road and very warm (floor heated), which was huge for a winter house. Closest neighbors couldn't be seen, there was a ton of space around the house to have kids roll a snowman. Basically the house was as advertised or better.

The owners were very reliable, responsive and were genuinely nice people that we met very briefly. They went out of their way to rent a hot tub that wasn't there in order to get us to rent the house - they already had all the hook-ups. It worked perfectly along with a dry sauna in one of the bathrooms. They also sent us the entire damage deposit back, promptly, even though I think we broke a glass ;)

The house is about 15-20 minutes driving from Killington base. It's definitely a very good location, short of anything that would put you on the slopes without taking a car.
