This newly furnished home (27 Veranda Beach Drive) located in the sought after Veranda Beach community can be your vacation home away from home. CALELILY is a well-appointed 3.5 bedroom/ 3 bath home, and features a beautiful ocean view. Each bedroom has an en suite bathroom and private porch to view the sunrise and sunset on Fripp. A unique sleeping alcove with a twin trundle bed is available for the children and has a built in LCD/DVD system - their own private hideaway. For a romantic escape, the master bathroom has a two person shower and luxurious jetted tub that overlooks the ocean. The kitchen, dining and living area provide relaxed, comfortable living with views of the palm trees and ocean. You will enjoy the upgraded open kitchen that feels like home where meals can be prepared while watching the sun reflect off the waters nearby.
Calelily is walking distance to many amenities that the whole family can enjoy. The popular Cabana Club with pool bar, waterfall and toddler pool is a short walk around the corner. Camp Fripp with fishing/crabbing pier is only steps away where you can watch dolphins swim. Children’s playground and basketball courts are also a short walk or golf cart ride away.
A golf cart is included in the rental (four forward seats with luggage rack) that allows the whole family to take a short ride to the beach, tennis complex or marina. Calelily is very near to the championship Ocean Creek Davis Love III golf course and a short ride to Fripp’s second course, Ocean Point with beautiful ocean views from the fairways and greens.
Off the island, Hunting Island State Park is just over the bridge and the historic towns of Beaufort and Port Royal are a short drive away. Less than an hour away is Hilton Head Island, a shopper’s paradise with outlet malls and upscale shopping.

A 50% deposit is required to confirm a reservation. Balance is due 30 days prior to arrival. No reservation is confirmed until a deposit and a signed Rental Agreement is received.
Rates do not include accommodations state/county tax. Additional cleaning fee may be charged for non-weekly rentals. A $35 booking/administration fee may be charged for property setup. A $55 owner insurance protection policy is available at the time of booking. This insurance protects you from financial burden (up to $1,500) for losses due to damages that occur accidentally during your stay. Until confirmed, rates are subject to change without notice.

Cancellation and Refunds
If you cancel, no refund unless house can be re-rented. In the case of a 'Mandatory' evacuation of the Island due to hurricane, storms or other, we will accommodate any unused days to another available time, or we will refund the remainder of the rent. To insure your vacation investment we do offer Travel Insurance protection.
We have stayed here a number of times over the last few years. Sometimes as a couple and sometimes with other family and friends. It works with kids just fine. Within walking distance of the Cabana club and swimming pool and a short golf cart (which is provided) trip to the ocean. The ocean and inlet views from the screened porches on both the main and top levels are awesome. It is near the Ocean Creek Golf Course and again a golf cart ride to the course, or to the marina or to the resources at the center of the island. Location, view and the house itself makes this a fantastic vacation get away. There is a grocery store at the marina in addition to a restaurant and boat rentals - this is a great island to doing nothing or for engaging in outdoor activities.
We have visited Fripp Island for the past 15 years and have stayed at various locations.
For the past 4 years we have spent several weeks at 27 Veranda Beach Drive and have been extremely satisfied. The house is spacious and well-appointed. The kitchen is equipped with lovely dishes, silverware and glassware. Every utensil a cook needs is right at hand. Towels and sheets are high quality and the entire house is well organized and maintained. All beds and upholstery are very comfortable. It is a real pleasure to have a golf cart included in the property.
We have visited Fripp as early as February, during the summer and also in the fall. In the spring and fall the island is very quiet and peaceful. Even in summer the beach is never crowded.
Fishing from the beach and crabbing and fishing from the nearby pier which extends into the inlet are excellent. Sunsets from that point are most spectacular.
Crusing on the Fripper II through the marsh and bay is a favorite yearly excursion of ours. All pools are well maintained and the heated pool at the Cabana Beach Club is most welcome in spring and fall. The educational hands-on nature program offered at Camp Fripp is very much enjoyed by our grandchildren.
Every year we schedule a visit to 27 Veranda Beach Drive and look forward to it with great anticipation.
This was our 2nd stay at this home. We like the house and it has most of the items you need to enjoy your stay. The home was clean and furniture was comfortable. We were staying during a quiet time and did not have many neighbors so it was very peaceful. It is located behind the Cabana pool so you do here the pool noise and water treatment system running. I believe it woould be a much noisier location at the peak of the season. This home hase 3 screened porches which was nice, since the mosqitoes were bad. We used citronella candles on a couple of occasions due to the midges (no see ums) that found their way through the screens. The house had rechargeable flash lights last year, but this year there wasn't a flashlight to be found. It would have been nice to have had a flashlight or two in the house and a beach umbrella would be a nice addition to the items provided.
The one big issue we have had both times we stayed here were with the management company. Last year we arrived to find the dish washer inoperable with dirty water in the bottom of the machine. It took over a week to get the issue addressed. This year we had problems with the golf cart lights. We called on our 3rd day there and never hear from the management company. I called again at the end of the 1st week but was never contacted by the management company. We were out at the beach with the golf cart when a repir person showed up at the door. One of our party had stayed behind to read. He informed the repair person we were at the beach and he could contact us to let us know a repair person was there. The repair person said this was his last stop and he was leaving for the day. So, the golf cart never had the lights fixed. This did limit how late we could be out in the cart since you need lights to drive the cart. Sunset is a very popular time to be riding in the cart and if you spent to much time taking pictures you had to drive the cart back using a flash light (if you remmebered to bring one with you).
I would stay at this home again only as a second option. I like to be able to contact the owner or the management company in the event of problems that may arise. The only thing I can say about the management company is they are not very responsive to the renter.
