Beautiful lake view across from a cozy cottage that will accommodate 6 guests comfortably. Great for a romantic getaway or a camping or fishing trip with the gang. Kid will love swimming in the lake and adults will enjoy the great view and quiet seclusion. The lake home features internet access, cable TV and DVD players in each room. Very large lot with plenty of room to park boats, jet skis, 3-wheelers and travel trailers (power hook up only). Located on Beautiful Lake Worth where you can enjoy Boating, Skiing, Swimming, Sailing, Golfing and Fishing. Just minutes to Downtown Forth Worth, Fort Worth Stack Yards, Texas Motor Speedway, Will Rogers Center and twenty five minutes to Dallas Cowboys Stadium, Texas Ranger Ballpark, Six Flags, Hurricane Harbor, Lone Star Park, and The Wax Museum. With its glassy smooth water, overhanging cliffs and winding banks, Lake Worth is a great escape to all water activities and is especially great for the fishing enthusiast. Area Amenities include a large public boat ramp, boat slips, and sailboat docks just steps away. Located on the West Fork of the Trinity River, entirely within the Fort Worth city limits the surface area of the lake is 3,489 acres and the maximum depth is 22 feet. White Crappie and Catfish are the most popular fishes in Lake Worth. Largemouth Bass and White Bass are also present. Largemouth bass can be found around rocky shoreline and boat houses. Crappie may be located near reed beds and brush piles under docks. White bass are easy prey when spawning up the river. Catfish are located throughout the reservoir. Blue catfish over 40 pounds are not uncommon.

Peaceful home away from home!

This cottage was in the perfect location for exploring Fort Worth yet having a quiet and peaceful place to come home to and relax. The property was clean and well maintained and was well appointed with those things you always seem to forget like coffee, coffee filters and sweetners! The layout of the cottage was wonderful with plenty of room for everyone. We especially enjoyed having the dual sinks in the bathroom! There are the occasional military flyovers from Carswell AFB, but they didn't go on for an extended period of time and were frankly quite fun to watch. Fort Worth is such a fabulous place to visit with the world class museums and entertainment, and stepping back in time at the Stockyards. The Bureau of Engraving is quite near the cottage and is a very interesting (and FREE) place to visit...if you like money....! The downtown area is fabulous and the new 7th street district is lovely with its unique shops and restaurants. We especially loved Wrare on Crockett - the most unique furniture, gifts and home goods store we've ever seen! Our family will definitely be returning to FTW, and this cottage, again soon!

I like this well furnished clean home. It is a hidden, quiet lakeside retreat with stocked kitchen and laundry, tv/movies/games, cozy layout. Swimming is available at the nearby public beach. Beds are comfortable. Even has a garage if desired.
