About Georgia Hayes
Roger and I are both from North Carolina. He was a Duke University football player and I was a UNC Chapel Hill Homecoming Queen You can imagine the rivalry in our household during March Madness! We have been married 44 years. Since we both grew up close to Charlotte (Monroe and Gastonia), we decided to raise our family there. The mountains have always been our retreat. For Roger, being an avid golfer and outdoor enthusiast, this was a perfect place. Needless to say, it was “love at first sight” when we discovered this lovely mountain home. We knew immediately that we had to have it. At that time, Roger worked for Bank of America and I owned a software business. We have both since retired and have spent many summers here in bliss. We have wonderful memories at Grandfather Golf and Country Club and know you will enjoy it as much as our family and friends have! -Georgia “Peach” & Roger
