If you’re searching for a place to stay with family or friends that’s within walking or biking distance of downtown Salida, you have found it!

This stunning two bedroom condo is located right on the trout-filled Arkansas River, and just a few blocks from historic downtown Salida and its vibrant restaurants, shops, art galleries, parks, and outdoor riverfront amphitheater.

The area is known as the Heart of the Rockies, and it will beckon you to its mountains, streams, and breathtaking scenery – or you can just relax and enjoy the scenery from the comfort of your deck.

This 2,050 sq. ft. condo on the first floor has it all – brand new furniture, two firm king beds, two gas fireplaces, a gourmet kitchen, a steam shower, and two private decks overlooking the Arkansas River. The deck off the kitchen has a barbeque and an outstanding view of Tenderfoot Mountain.

Leave your car in the one-car garage and walk or bike anywhere you want to go in town. Out your back door you can fly fish, eddy out in your kayak, or go rafting right from the riverbank. The Arkansas River boasts some of the best whitewater rafting in the world.

There are hundreds of trails located right around Salida, and lots more – including the Continental Divide Trail and the Colorado Trail – within a short drive.

About Maureen Schultz

We came to Salida for the outdoor lifestyle and the friendly community. We developed and built these luxury Salida River Front Condominiums in 2010, and will soon begin another project in Salida. Our piece of paradise is a mountain vacation destination in all seasons.

Stayed here for 3 nights with our kids and granddaughter. This was by far the nicest condo we've ever stayed in. Fully equipped with all amenities and then some, and what a beautiful, tranquil view off the balconies of the river. Maureen and David, the owners are wonderful to deal with and even made us cookies for our arrival! They have truly thought of everything. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this rental if you want a place that has it all!

This is our second stay at the Riverfront Condo's. We were here last year and hope to return next year. The owners are great hosts. Sitting on he deck and listening to the river is more relaxing than a spa.

What a wonderful place to rest & relax in an absolutely gorgeous location! I recently stayed with a group of friends and we all agreed that VRBO is the way to go! This home was perfect for our stay. The furnishings were complete and comfortable, and the location was great for reasonable walking distance to all the things we needed for our stay. Sitting on the deck watching the world float by on the river was a highlight. Owners met and welcomed our group and we felt right at home.

It was a great weekend. We went for a family ski weekend at Monarch. Everyone at Monarch was very friendly and it was a fabulous first time experience for our boys, ages 7 and 9. We ate at Amica's on Friday night at the recommendation of Maureen and it was terrific food. We ate in for the rest of the weekend. The kitchen was well stocked as mentioned in previous reviews and that was much appreciated. The home was very clean. We would definitely stay there again. A weekend wasn't long enough!

Huge 2 bedroom condo

My sister's family stayed with us in the 2 bedroom condo. We had an amazing time and plenty of room for all of us. My family usually stays in the 1 bedroom condo, but this is a great option as well. Such a nice place with everything you want. We can't wait to stay there in the summer so we can enjoy the roof top deck. Maureen and Dave are always welcoming and there if you need them. Thanks!!
