Secluded and Serene
We had two families together for a long-weekend stay at the house. Between 4 adults and 5 kids, we still felt the house to be very spacious and offered privacy for all. The home was beautiful, and we enjoyed the deck especially, as it was covered and shaded most of the day. The house had everything we needed, and the proximity to the lake was ideal, even though it is a large hill to navigate back and forth. The seclusion was very nice, as you wouldn't know the house was there unless you were looking for it. Being in a heavily wooded area was also ideal for our children. My only major complaints are that the view of the lake is limited because of the trees and that the shared dock is a pretty long walk from the house, and the ability to drive there does take several minutes. Otherwise, we enjoyed it thoroughly and are already planning a return trip.

Owner's Response: We are very grateful that you enjoyed your stay and are planning a return trip. Unfortunately, during the summer the tree folliage is pretty thick and the house is at tree level. During the fall and winter, the views are spectacular! I would like to invite you and others back at these times for better lake views. We continuously work on clearning the property. This will open up the views. We are also investigating with the corps of engineers the potential for a walkway to the dock . That would be great if we can work it out.
