Rock Creek is one of western Montana's most famous Blue Ribbon Trout streams. It holds Brown, Cutthroat, Rainbow, Brook and Bull Trout and is considered the best wade fishing in Montana. Great dry fly fishing all season; can be floated during the Salmon Fly hatch in June. Within hours are the Bitterroot, Blackfoot, Clark Fork, Big Hole, Flint Creek and Beaverhead.
This 3-year-old cabin is made of 14"-16" hand-hewn logs and is one of only a few right on the water in Rock Creek. It has 2 bedrooms and a loft, with 2.5 baths and a custom kitchen. The cabin sleeps 6 and can be set up either with 2 king beds and 2 XL twins, 1 king and 4 XL twins or 6 XL twins. The living/dining/kitchen space is completely open with 20-ft cathedral ceilings and floor-to-ceiling glass, making the creek part of your living room. Clear-story windows give cabin a light and airy feel.
From the spacious deck, living room and kitchen/dining area, you can enjoy the spectacular view of Rock Creek and the scenic rock formations towering over it. The large wrap-around deck, screened-in porch and inside living space provide approximately 2,500 square feet of living area. The cabin is located on upper Rock Creek, 25 miles from Philipsburg, Montana and a 1.5 hour drive from the Missoula airport.
