Our family members have grown up on the Mississippi Gulf Coast for generations and enjoy the natural resources, community amenities, and hospitable nature of our region.

This property was purchased by three brothers after Hurricane Katrina had severly damaged this structure. With most of the front beach architecture wiped away, this home was one of the closest to the beach left standing in West Gulfport after the debris was moved away. The Hewes boys wanted to salvage what they could and took on the project of completely restoring this duplex to the condition it is in today. Many other structures across the Coast were saved in the same way, preserving the character of many Gulf Coast cottages and the surrounding neighborhoods. With the continued rebuilding of this area, our property is ideally located for easy access to numerous recreation, entertainment, business, shopping, and dining venues.
Only two blocks away, the Gulf can be seen from the front porch, and just around the corner is West Side Park which has been totally redesigned with a walking track, playground equipment, splash pad, and a gazebo/blow fly.
Just to the east, The Gulfport Small Craft Harbor is being rebuilt, along with Bert Jones Park - complete with an ampitheater, where you can go walking, fishing, boating, or catch the boat to Ship Island.
The coastal cities of Gulfport, Long Beach, Biloxi, D'Iberville, Pass Christian, Ocean Springs, and Bay St. Louis are within easy drving distance and offer a variety of great restaurants, casino, and shopping venues for your enjoyment.
