The townhouse is used by my family when they are visiting New Orleans but we are happy to share with you so you too can love NOLA as we do!
TM Brown purchased this townhome in 2001
“Madame Lily Devalier always asked 'Where are you?' in a way that insinuated that there were only two places on earth one could be: New Orleans and somewhere ridiculous.”

Location, location, location! Less than two miles to downtown, sports arenas, convention center, and French Quarter. Great section of Magazine Street for a pedestrian visit to NOLA. Three floors and lots of space
This house was the perfect place for a bunch of bachelors (oh and one married guy) to hang out in New Orleans for an extended weekend. We wanted for nothing. The owner was very nice, accessible, and easy to work with. She thought of everything- full kitchen, plenty of linen, wash cloths, and towels. The house was nicely decorated with interesting pieces of artwork, playing cards, books, magazines, Wi-Fi, and other amenities. All in all, not only would we stay here again when in NOLA but we will also look for other VRBO's in other places when traveling.
Great home in a great location!! The owner has thought of everything. This home is spacious, clean & comfortable with lovely décor. We felt very safe as well. With Magazine Street around the corner, we had plenty of wonderful restaurants and shopping. It's a bit of a hike to the streetcar, but the bus stop is right on the corner. The buses were new, clean and also felt safe. It was easy getting downtown without a car and great staying in a quieter area of New Orleans. For my first VRBO experience, I was very impressed!
Wow! What a great place to stay in New Orleans! As a native from Nawlins, I was very excited to return to the city but extremely selective on location and accommodations. This place met all of our needs!
The property is very large with a great layout. The beds are very comfortable. The place was very clean upon arrival. TB (owner) was very responsive to all of our needs. They even helped us with travel advice entering the town during the crazy parade schedule/traffic.
We enjoyed the stay and would definitely book again in the future.
This was a wonderful house for my husband, our three adult children and me. The house is perfectly represented in the photos, very roomy for us to spread out and unbelievably close to all the restaurants on Magazine Street and more in the Garden District. We rented a car so to take day trips to the plantations and swamp tour. It was perfect to have a parking spot right on the property. The owner was very easy to reach and receptive to our questions/concerns. We all loved our stay and would definitely consider a return trip!
We had a group of 7 staying in the house. We found the place to be in perfect condition an well fitted with all of the things needed to feel right at home. The connect was easy and the place surpassed our other experiences. Will be going back.
Our group consisted of 4 adults and a baby, we originally looked at hotels but were delighted when we saw this house was available for the weekend we were going to be in town. I don't think you can tell how much space you have until you are really in there. Comfortably it could sleep six couples with their own rooms and only a little overlap of bathroom sharing on the third floor, plus there is additional sleeping space with the pullout couch. All of the amenities are provided and more! As soon as we arrived we wanted to stay longer, and is definitely recommended to those that like the comforts of home while on vacation and for those that require peace and quiet in the evenings.
The location of this townhouse is a couple blocks from the St. Charles Trolley line and right off of Magazine street. At no point did we feel unsafe or that we were in too much of a city setting.
The only thing I would caution anyone on is the parking. You are right near the busy street of Magazine and the street parking is scarce so keep that in mind and enjoy!!
