3 blocks from your very own private beach club. Situated between Zuma Beach and Broad Beach. Beautiful, light, bright & fully furnished 2 bedroom with 1 full bath with charming kitchenette. High thread count linens, beautifully appointed. Plush towels. Walking distance to beaches, Starbucks, Market, fine dining, hiking and all summer activities. Located in a beautiful, safe, private and quiet neighborhood. A great Malibu escape or a great location for visiting with family. Hiking, biking, surfing, kayaking, kite surfing. Amazing sunsets on private beach club with caves and tide pools to explore. Get as close to the beach as you can without having to pay oceanfront prices.

About The Owner

My husband and I built this Cape Cod style cottage, adjacent to our home, last year when most of our children moved out on their own. We are very proud of what we have created as a peaceful seaside vacation rental. My husband is a boat captain for a dive boat out of Santa Barbara. If you are into scuba, he is the guy you want to talk to. I work in the beautiful hills of Malibu in the wine industry. If you love wine or wine tasting, feel free to ask me to help plan a day of both. We both cater when we are not working in our other jobs. We both grew up in the restaurant business and we love to cook! Want to plan a special meal while you are here or need to find some specialty foods, just ask. We rent this cottage to Pepperdine University graduate students in the winter and make it available for you in the summer months. My husband was born and raised in Malibu and I am a transplanted Cape Codder. We love the ocean and the west end of Malibu is a very special place! We hope you enjoy it as much as we do!

What makes this cottage unique

Wake up to sun streaming in all your windows, unless you close the shutters, and go for a run, surf , play a round of tennis or just walk to the beach (stopping at Starbucks of course) and go shell collecting on the beach. Walk to the end of Zuma Beach and have lunch at The Sunset restaurant with such beautiful ocean breezes. Maybe catch a wave or two after lunch and then head up to Malibu Wines for an afternoon of wine tasting. In the evening you could go back to your private beach club, with a bottle of wine you bought at the winery and sip away any stress you might have as the sun dips below the horizon and the pinks, blues and amber lights of sunset make you realize that 'it doesn't get any better than this'. Head back to your cottage for a quick shower and head out on the town or a great meal at Dukes for fish taco's in the 'Barefoot bar' or perfectly prepared Mahi Mahi. Sounds like a perfect day in paradise. Fall asleep with the distant sounds of the waves breaking, begging you to come back again tomorrow.

We stayed here for a week during New Years and it was fantastic. It was exactly as described. Walking distance to the beach and Starbucks, can't be beat! Adorable place, super clean and in excellent condition. We fell in love with Malibu. Thank you so much Jacqui.
