Our property is part of a unique cottage colony which has 12 acres of commonly owned land for you to use and enjoy. This friendly vacation spot offers you total privacy, and if you want, there is an opportunity to meet the other cottage owners who all are PEI locals here for their summer holiday away from their homes in other parts of the Island.
The cottage is located in Long River, which is minutes away from the popular attractions of Cavendish, including: Prince Edward Island National Park, with miles of white and red sand Beaches, winding walkways through the exquisite Parabolic Dunes; dramatic rock and cliff formations; a family oriented Amusement Park with go carts, Ferris wheel and roller coaster; Avonlea Village and Museum; Anne of Green Gables House; Championship Golf Courses; a variety of restaurants that serve the local seafood that PEI is famous for: Lobster, Blue Mussels and Malpeque Oysters.
This home away from home is your perfect central location for exploring the entire Island. There are incredible activities to experience including; Historic Charlottetown; Fiddle Festivals; The College of Piping Highland Gathering and Annual Show; The Indian River Festival; village Ceilidhs; Pottery shops; Antique shops, and miles and miles of gorgeous scenic drives, including Red Clay Heritage Roads.
