Cabin on Lake, 2 bedrooms, 1 bath; 2 bdrm bunkhouse if available

Ironman Week still available and no extra charge for use of detached bunkhouse that sleeps 4-5. Hurry to reserve as the area accommodations book quickly. Relax and enjoy one of the world’s most gorgeous lakes from the deck or any room in our family cabin or from the detached bunkhouse. The main cabin sleeps up to 6 with the use of new hide-a-bed in the living room. You can put 4-5 more out in the bunkhouse easily for an additional rate of $50 per night or $250 weekly.( no extra charge for month of May and June ) You can wake to the serenity of waves lapping the shoreline right below your bedroom window. Take the kayaks our for a peaceful tour of the lakeshore. Swim in crystal clear water and sunbathe on the beach or private dock. Enjoy smores at the bonfire after a moonlight swim. Practice for the Ironman Triathlon in the same lake as you compete during the annual June event. Ride or hike on miles of private trails overlooking the lake or take a more leisurely stroll on the private paved road. There is a level for all walkers, hikers, bikers and runners. Play tennis, pickle ball or basketball on our community tennis court overlooking the lake. Badminton your thing? We have a world-class court with felt floors and all in the top level of our association’s remodeled barn. ( see photos) Enjoy cooking in our remodeled and well appointed kitchen or BBQ and eat on the deck overlooking the lake, beach and dock. Anglers fish for Black Crappie, Chinook and Sockeye Salmon, Cutthroat Trout, Large and Smallmouth Bass, Northern Pike and Perch. Cast off the dock or troll from your boat or enjoy one of the many pristine fly fishing spots nearby.

Need to rent something? Coeur d’Alene City has many sites to rent boats, jet skis, bikes and water sport equipment. We provide two sea going type kayaks that are very stable and safe even for the beginner. The area hosts a number of fine dining establishments as well as fun and crazy bars, taverns and dancing. The nearby Coeur d’Alene resort provides daily cruises on the lake and up the St. Joe River as well. People come from all over the country to ride bikes on the Hiawatha Trail and Trail of the Coeur d’Alenes rail to trail system with outrageous scenery and wildlife. Come during off season and stay for spring and fall hunting, fishing and hiking in cooler weather.

Local Annual Events: Ironman Triathalon in June on Lake Coeur d'Alene; Bloomsday marathon in Spokane; Hoopfest in Spokane in July; Art on the Green in Coeur d'Alene City in August to name a few local events.

Silverwood Theme Park is less than an hour from the cabin.

Bridlepath Horseback Riding is within 30 minutes.

Outstanding public golf course abound in the area. A few of special interest: Circling Raven, Coeur d'Alene Resort, Indian Canyon plus more.

Coeur d'Alene Casino ( also home of Circling Raven Golf Course) is only 20 minutes from the cabin by car.

My husband and I are retired teachers and live in the area near the historic family lake cabin. I bring my horses to the lake each summer and enjoy riding out there with my sister and friends. This cabin was purchased by my parents in 1960 and our families continue to come back each summer to enjoy this great place for kids, parents and pets.

World class golf courses such as Circling Raven and adjoining Coeur d'Alene Casino with nightlife abounds. Coeur d'Alene and nearby Spokane area have great public golf courses within easy drive of cabin. Late June the area hosts annual Ironman Triathalon. Lake cruises from Coeur d'Alene resort are a must do if you don't have your own boat. Boat rentals, jet skis and many other water craft available for rent as well. Silverwood theme and waterpark are easy 30 minute drive north of CDA. Spectacular scenic trails abound for bikers, hikers and some for horses as well. Just outside cabin are many wonderful trails for hikers taking you to panoramic views overlooking the lake. Also onsite is the communal tennis court, basketball and pickle ball court. Those who love badminton will love our remodeled dairy barn when not down on beach or enjoying water activities. We have 2 sea kayaks for use as well as many water toys for kids.

My family and I had a fun week long vacation at this cabin. Perfect place for kids and dogs. We enjoyed use of the dock and had our boat tied up there all week. We also enjoyed use of the tennis courts located nearby. We have been renting houses on VRBO for many years and we enjoyed this place the most.
