Family Vacation

The pictures on this web site are right on. The amenities listed, were all there, and more. The only thing I would say is that the parking spaces provided are very narrow/small. If you have a large vehicle, like we do, beware of this. If you have more than one car, you must park on the street.
It is so close to the village, beach, restaurants, literally right around the corner. The property was very clean, inside and out. The owners, Gary and Debra, were really easy to talk to, get a hold of and really nice. I would and have recommend this property to family and friends, even strangers. :)
We went to the beach every day or night, had the chance to enjoy the sunsets every night. We went to Legoland and Sea Life Aquarium (one of the only times we actually had to use our car), we walked the village and did some shopping, we took the Coaster to San Diego to go to Seaport Village and Gaslamp. We loved Cessy's, Norte, Cafe on the corner, Gregorio's and Carlsbad Beach Grill. There is also a Cold Stone, Linda's Yogurt, Starbucks and Jamba Juice! The Daily News, I personally did not enjoy, but the service was good.
You have to share a laundry room with the entire unit, there are only two washers and two dryers. I noticed that as long as you did your laundry during the week morning or day, there wasn't a problem, but on the weekends or at night, there was a long wait. For those who don't know, this Condo is owned by the same guy who owns the Carlsbad Flower Fields. Very cool history.
This is the place to go, if you want to be in the heart of the village and be able to walk to everything you need. Great for families. My children who are 8 and 10 years old, did not want to leave. :)
