Quaint and quiet Northshore Villa nestled in the heart of the village of Anna Maria, on Anna Maria Island. Our 2 bedroom 1 bath home has been recently updated for our guests enjoyment. Sit out on our deck in the morning and enjoy a peaceful quiet cup of coffee or enjoy a short stroll to eating wonderfully fresh baked pastries, breads, and roasted coffee at the local antique shop and bakery just off of Magnolia and Gulf Drive. In the afternoon just steps away are some of Florida's best sandy white beaches to relax on or dip your toe or more in the azure blue Gulf of Mexico. Stroll down Pine Ave. and step back in time with quaint store fronts and cafe's and front porches all with rocking chairs. Experience some of the best coastal shopping around. Along Pine Ave., Spring Ave, or Magnolia you have quick access to the west side of the island displaying 7 miles of a white sandy beach or to the east, just a short walk to the bay side of the island and spend time on the historic city pier while fishing, or viewing the Sunshine Skyway bridge. While down on Pine Ave. you can also experience the quaint downtown area for ice cream, dining, theatre, and shopping. Come and experience island living with us.

About Michelle Laade

We relocated here to Anna Maria Island from Michigan. We now enjoy raising our family here in this quaint coastal community. We have volunteered, lived, and owned businesses here on the island for over 15 years. My husband owns his own painting and remodeling company. In addition to managing our vacation rental, I teach Art to children in an after school program,work as a local realtor and volunteer as a board member of several local non profit organizations. We love living in our community and try to give back as much as possible..

We chose to purchase a vacation rental because we knew it was a sound investment and now feel that we hope to be able to share a little bit of this paradise we have found with everyone.

What makes this villa unique

The property is unique in its location. Sitting at the historic north end of Anna Maria. We are in the heart of the village of Anna Maria just steps away from Pine Ave. shopping and dining district. You are literally at the best end of the island and walking distance from everything local that you would want to enjoy and experience. Although having a vehicle is nice it is not necessary as there is a trolley that runs north and south on the island to all the necessary conveniences the island has to offer.

Second Time, Just as Nice as the First!

Hitting the PowerBall would just about be the only thing that could happen to me, that would be nicer than staying at this rental during the week of my choosing. My brothers and I could not have picked a better place to stage our annual "brothers fishing" week. This is the second year in a row that we have stayed at this villa, and plan on hopefully staying here same time, for years to come. Even when the fishing isn't all that great, just having the peaceful surroundings to relax in makes this a vacation of memories. Like the other reviewers say, you are close to all the amenities the island has to offer. A car would only be needed if you planned on carrying gear. You are within walking distance of shopping, groceries, entertainment, and most important of all, the finest beaches one can ask for. Folks, the Laades are good, honest people. You will not be disappointed. You have my word on this!

Wonderful beach house, near everything

Being in the travel business, i give a lot of weight to first impressions. When we arrived, my initial reaction exceeded my expectations. The house is lovely, in excellent condition, and was perfect for us from the start. We like that it has no stairs, everything is on ground level, the house has had an excellent renovation and all is like new. It is very clean and fresh. It has a fenced yard for the dogs and feels very private, perfect for our many barbecue evenings. It is an easy 1.5 block walk to the gorgeous beach and we are two houses from Pine Ave. where we always walked for dinner when we dined out. We have already booked for next year, which I think, says it all. The owner is a pleasure to work with and addressed any issues that arose immediately. I hope to be a repeat renter for many years to come.

Very good property in a very good place.

The house is better than the images we had seen at the VRBO site. Everything works well, and it is in very good shape, furniture, appliances, bathroom, kitchen, etc. clearly taken care of with dedication. The location is very good, a short walk to the beach, very close to the local free trolley but far enough not to hear the vehicles passing by.
Will recommend it to friends.

Perfect vacation cottage

I hesitate to write this, because I hear this little cottage is getting popular, but the owners deserve a great review. We've stayed in several vacation rentals along the Gulf coast. This was, by far, the best -- both pet friendly and spotlessly-clean, both centrally-located and quiet and residential. Our dogs enjoyed the fenced-in yard. We loved how close it was to the beach. We left behind a robe and the owners kindly mailed it to our home. This attention to detail is evident throughout this adorable villa. We'll definitely stay here again - if we can get in!

This place justified the previous excellent reviews. Perfect location and very comfortable. Everything you need for a lovely vacation. Michelle & Jeff were exceptionally helpful, obviously very proud of their homes. The house was spotless on our arrival and everything worked a treat. We enjoyed days on the beach using the beach chairs (including the beach umbrella and towels provided) from the house and days out either walking the beach, taking a stroll up Pine Ave to the City Pier or making use of the fantastic free trolley bus for trips aound the Island. Many eating places within easy walking distance as well as take out options to enjoy back at the house. We would like to thank Michelle & Jeff for making this lovely vacation possible. Highly recommended.
