Discover peaceful coastal living at this one level, 3 bedroom, 2.5 bath single family home on a secure cul-de-sac. The centrally located Keys of Marsh Harbor community is just 1.5 miles to the beach. Your getaway is an exceptional, spacious retreat (over 2800 sq. ft.) that has been lovingly decorated in a combination of designer Tropical and fun beach style furnishings. The open and airy floor plan includes a full size dining room, living room, family room, and sunroom.

The bedroom of the private, well appointed master suite has a vaulted ceiling, deluxe Sleep Number King Bed, ceiling fan and walk in closet. Adjacent to the king bedroom is an inviting, luxurious triple sink spa bathroom with garden tub and large separate shower. The two guest bedrooms are located on the other side of the house to ensure privacy. One guest bedroom includes a Sleep Number Queen Bed, ceiling fan and reading lamps, and the 3rd bedroom offers 2 twin beds, ceiling fan and reading lamp. An adjacent bathroom with tub/shower combination serves the guest bedrooms. Blankets, pillows and bedspreads are provided.

The oversized well equipped kitchen has everything to make you feel at home including a Keurig coffee brewer to help you jump-start your beach day. Take your morning coffee to the tranquil rear deck that overlooks tall oak trees. At the end of your day at the beach, use the Weber gas grill on the deck for a family barbeque.

During the summer season, leave your car and take the convenient Park & Ride Shuttle Buses with a stop located a 5 minute walk from the house. Should you prefer to drive, a Rehoboth Beach parking permit is included.

All the activities the beach has to offer are easily accessed from your doorstep. Walk on the famous mile long Boardwalk, dine at your choice of over 70 restaurants, play golf at numerous public courses or just enjoy a leisurely bike ride through town. Two Cruiser Bikes are available to use during your vacation. Closer to home, take a dip in the community swimming pool, play tennis or stop in at Jungle Jim’s Waterpark next door.

Other extras include Wi-Fi, 2 flat screen TVs, 2 DVDs, music collection, 6 ceiling fans, beach chairs, IPod Dock, telescope, full size laundry room, unlimited long distance telephone, beach umbrellas, coolers and children’s beach toys. For cloudy days there are movies for all ages along with a variety of board games. This is a quiet relaxing family home with a maximum capacity of 7 including children. No Group Rentals are accepted.

Two dedicated parking spaces are available on the driveway in addition to one space inside the garage. This is a non smoking property and sorry, no pets. Weekly rentals only are accepted, and Saturday to Saturday during high season. Check-in is after 3:30pm and check-out is at 10am. Early check-in or late check-out is not available during the summer months.

Why The Owner chose Bay Harbor

Word is indeed getting out and Rehoboth Beach is no longer a well kept secret. Have been visiting here since the 80’s and it has always held a special feeling for my family and friends. First time visitors always are surprised at what a wonderful town it is, and regret not discovering it sooner.

Rehoboth was in the news in 2011 as National Geographic included the Boardwalk as one of the top 10 in the country. The beaches in Rehoboth and Dewey are 2 of 4 beaches in the US to receive the Superstar Beach Award in addition to the 5 Star Rating for their Cleanliness from Natural Resources Defense Council again in 2012.

Fortunately, Rehoboth has maintained its small town charm and quaintness that we have all come to adore. There is something fun to do for every age group. It has become a culinary gem with dozens of family-friendly restaurants in addition to the gourmet choices. During the summer season, we enjoy the free concerts at the Bandstand, bumper cars at Funland and bike rides and kayaking at nearby Cape Henlopen State Park. In the off season, we treasure our walks on the Boardwalk, taking the Ferry to Cape May, dining at great restaurants, or taking a quick trip to Dover Downs. After all these years, there is always something new to explore.

What makes this house unique

Our guests all comment on how relaxing and calming our home is. It is a perfect place to unwind from the urban chaos. We were searching for a vacation/retirement home that was all on one level in a quiet neighborhood with easy access to Rehoboth Avenue and the beach. The Keys of Marsh Harbor community was a perfect choice. The Dart Park and Ride Station is next door. Shuttle buses run from Memorial Day to Labor Day and adults are just $1.00 each way and small children ride free. Seniors only pay $ .80. There is a community pool with extended hours and an all purpose tennis court. This home that we call “Club Hemingway” holds wonderful memories of good times and laughter from the past 7 years. Everyone who visits begin their own traditions…some are on the beach for sunrise each morning, some grab a coffee at one of the numerous coffee shops in town, and others just enjoy relaxing on the deck with a good book. We look forward to welcoming you to our stress free haven so that you can begin your own family beach traditions and make new memories.

This house was hands down my favorite VRBO property!! The house was BEAUTIFUL! Roomy and tastefully decorated. Beds were very comfortable and the neighborhood is QUIET! My favorite thing: All the details of the house: Every glass, dish, cooking utensil you need...all labeled, the little throw blankets around the house, the magnifying mirrors in each bathroom, the cruiser bikes, the assortment of beach chairs, coolers, etc, the books full of information about the house, the area, and things to do. The pool was a short walk away and we found the bus depot across the street very hlepful. No need to fight for parking or feed meters with that around! Kathy, the owner, is very nice and easy to work with. Emails and phone calls were responded to quickly. Thanks Kathy for allowing us to have this great week in your fabulous home!

I would highly recommend this property to anyone. It was beautifully decorated and immaculately clean! I spend hours searching different properties everytime our family vacations. I am very picky when it comes to cleanliness and I have to say I do like a property that makes me feel comfortable. I take pride in my personal home and I will search for a property until I find one that makes me feel like I am at home. Kathy the owner goes out of her way making you feel welcome from the welcome bag she leaves for you when you arrive to having everything under the sun at the house! Like I said I have rented many properties and Kathy goes above and beyond what most people provide for their renters like parking passes, cruiser bikes, books, movies, guides to her favorite restaurants, even spices for cooking or some extra hats if you need to shade the sun! She really opens up her home to you! I hope that everyone that rents this pristine property will respect it and keep it beautiful! The home has a great layout and the location was just right. We had six people and there was plenty of room for everyone to spread out and do their own thing if they wanted. Enjoy!

The humble description of this place is an understatement. Every conceivable amenity is addressed, It's clean as a whistle, stocked with all kinds of perks, ultra-comfortable and decorated with world-class taste. The feeling from the moment you walk in the door is relaxed, fun & comfy. The spectrum of visitors this home appeals to is pretty much all inclusive. If you can't have a blast here, please , PLEASE seek professional help!!! (I almost feel guilty about writing this review for fear of giving up a cherished, well kept secret.)
The owner /property management are TOTALLY on top of their game. Every email/correspondence is darned near instantly dealt with. The attention to detail is remarkable. If you think all business transactions are cold, indifferent and void of a moral compass just wait until you deal with the Club Hemingway folks.
My kids are actually kind of PEE-OH'd at me for this vacation ending....perhaps you could anger your family too!!!
