This charming two bedroom, two bathroom ground floor garden flat is an ideal base for exploring London. All on one level it is ideal for people who find steps difficult. It is not suitable for very young children (although fine for babies). Situated in Parsons Green an up-market area of central London, close to the Kings Rd Chelsea, this quiet garden flat is round the corner from excellent transport facilities, restaurants and shops.

The sitting room with original period features and gas coal fire has a 4'6'' sofa bed.

The spacious kitchen/dining room is fully equipped and the whole flat is air-conditioned, which after a day of site-seeing on a boiling hot day comes as a welcome relief. The flat has two intercommunicating bedrooms, each independently accessed with their own bathrooms, both bedrooms have digital TV. The main bedroom has double doors directly onto the patio and garden, ideal for al-fresco dining. The patio has steps leading down to a small enclosed garden which is full of fragrant plants and flowers. An oasis on a hot summer's day.

Please note, as a home furnished and equipped for adults, the flat is not suitable for small children.

Keywords: Two minutes from Parsons Green Tube station and a bus stop, ideal location for South Kensington Museums, Picadilly, and West-end theatres, Harrods and all central London attractions. About Sue Gamblin

We moved down the road from Chelsea into this area nearly thirty years ago and have always been too happy here to move. We spend quite a lot of time in the countryside or travelling abroad, so we decided to let the flat out for short periods when we were away.

I got to know the area well when I lived in Chelsea and felt it was more convenient as far as transport and reasonably priced restaurants were concerned. Both the particular stretch of the Fulham Rd around the corner and Parsons Green (opposite the tube station) have become a thriving, vibrant up-market 'village' within central London, popular with professionals

What makes this apartment unique

Parsons Green is an ideal place to live. Not only are there excellent public transport facilities to access all London has to offer, but also easy access internationally via Eurostar or Heathrow and Gatwick airports.

Local facilities are excellent with numerous grocery stores, restaurants and shops all on your doorstep. There are several parks and the river's towpath for walkers/joggers/runners.

It is unusual for an apartment in this area of London to have a garden of this size. It is remarkably quiet and an ideal place to sit out in the morning for breakfast, or in the evening with a drink, watching the sun go down.

The Perfect Place to Stay in London

My husband and I spent a week in Sue's charming flat and will definitely be back. The décor is cozy, attractive, and immaculately clean, the appliances are up-to-date, and all the household and neighborhood information you could possibly need is in a handy, well-organized notebook. The beds are extremely comfortable, the garden was a treat -- even in the off-season -- there was plenty of closet space, and heavenly scented Molton Brown toiletries added the luxurious touch. We loved the easy access to the tube trains plus having excellent bus service a half-block away. Getting to art galleries, high tea at Fortnum & Mason's, plus theaters, and all key tourist attractions was a snap. The delightful and convenient local shops and fine neighborhood restaurants were a special surprise. We New Yorkers felt very much at home, and we can't wait to get back to London and Sue's garden flat.

Could not have been more pleased!!

We stayed at Sue's lovely flat for 9 nights in August 2014 and were delighted with it and Sue's wonderful help and care! We chose this place based on othes' reviews and the air units(which we fortunately rarely used) but were a bit concerned because it seemed further outside of the core of downtown London. Honestly, with sites all over the area, and being on the District Line, which is easy to connect to so many other lines and a straight shot to many sites, as well as right near a bus line, we didn't feel we were spending more time traveling than we would any place else. It is a beautifully appointed updated and well maintained flat. Traveling with our 2 college age children, one slept on the fold out couch, the other in the 2nd bedroom. Sue provides lots of insights about the neighborhood shops, restaurants and services and how to get to them, as well as, many guide books for your use and arrival treats of milk, juice and muffins for our first breakfast. She also went out of her way to help with allergy needs and much needed assistance for a midnight snafu with the travelers renting the upstairs flat - which otherwise we didn't know were even there, since we couldn't hear them. The neighborhood is upper scale, with much to offer and we felt very safe walking the short block and a half home from the tube late at night. We wish we had taken more time to explore this area. We would definitely rent again on a return to London. So much better than a hotel or tiny flat in a more bustling part of town, and every thing we needed was right there.

Delightful flat in a perfect location

My wife and I spent a week at Sue's lovely flat in Purser's Cross Road and could not have been happier with our stay. The location is ideal, with easy access to buses and tube trains and is within a few minutes' walk of local restaurants, pubs and grocery shops. We found the flat itself to be comfortable, attractively furnished and very well equipped. Sue was always available if needed and made us more than welcome. We will be back.

Idyllic London Flat

The garden flat was such a wonderful place to stay. It is located very close to a tube station which allowed easy access to all of London. All of the fixtures and appliances are very modern and the beds are tremendously comfortable! The small garden in back was a true delight; such an unexpected oasis in the middle of the city!!

We will definitely try to stay here again on future trips to London.

Lovely Flat & Fantastic Location

My wife and I stayed in Sue's flat for over a week and very much enjoyed our stay. The flat is as advertised ... except photographs cannot capture the beauty of the garden space. We spent many hours sitting in the back recounting our day - it was a calm and peaceful area. Sue was fantastic - met us and got us situated to the area and there were many fliers and books in the flat to use. The Parsons Green tube station was about a 5 minute walk and that line can take you anywhere in the city (sometimes via connections). The area had many very good restaurants too ... so you didn't have to go back in to the city for excellent food. You also felt like you were in a neighborhood without the hustle and bustle of the city. ... although if that's what you are looking for then this area might not be 'your cup of tea'. Would we stay there again - most definitely! Thanks Sue !!

The Parsons Green area is like living in an English village in the centre of London, with it's parks, churches, pubs, shops and restaurants all on your doorstep. Step out of your home into a very up-market area of boutique shops ,food stores and excellent, reasonably priced restaurants. Maybe call in to the iconic London pub 'The White Horse' situated on Parsons Green and try an English 'pint' before having dinner at one of the many restaurants that are situated within 3-4 minutes of the apartment. There are also five supermarkets within a 5 minute walk so if you prefer eating on the terrace in the fragrantly planted garden, you won't have to carry your groceries far.
