Recently refurbished, this superb two bedroom, two bathroom ground floor flat is an ideal base for exploring London. All on one level it is ideal for people who find steps difficult. Situated in an up-market area of central London, close to the Kings Rd Chelsea, this quiet garden flat is round the corner from excellent transport facilities, restaurants and shops.

The sitting room with original period features and gas coal fire has a 4'6'' sofa bed.

The spacious kitchen/dining room is fully equipped and the whole flat is air-conditioned.The flat has two intercommunicating bedrooms, each independently accessed with their own bathrooms, both bedrooms have digital TV. The main bedroom has double doors directly onto the patio and garden, ideal for al fresco dining. The patio has steps leading down to a small enclosed garden. The flat is not suitable for small children.

About Sue Gamblin

We moved down the road from Chelsea into this area nearly thirty years ago and have always been too happy here to move. We spend quite a lot of time in the countryside or travelling abroad, so we recently decided to let the flat out for short periods when we were away.

Why Sue Gamblin chose Hammersmith & Fulham

I got to know the area well when I lived in Chelsea and felt it was more convenient as far as transport and reasonably priced restaurants were concerned. Both the particular stretch of the Fulham Rd around the corner and Parsons Green (opposite the tube station) have become a thriving vibrant up-market 'village' within central London, popular with professionals

What makes this apartment unique

It is an ideal place to live. Not only are there excellent public transport facilities to access all London has to offer, but also easy access internationally via Eurostar or Heathrow and Gatwick airports.

Local facilities are excellent with numerous grocerey stores, restaurants and shops all on your doorstep. There are several parks and the river's towpath for walkers/joggers/runners.

It is unusual for an apartment in this area of London to have a garden of this size. It is remarkably quiet and an ideal place to sit out in the morning for breakfast, or in the evening with a drink, watching the sun go down.

Beautiful experience

My husband, my close friend and I had 5 days at this delightful slice of London. The kitchen is well equipped, the bathrooms stocked with upscale linens and amenities, and the garden an oasis in the city. One must change tube lines from the main tourist sections of London, but once you are in Parson's green everything is wonderful. Great restaurants and shops right around the corner on Fulham. The tube is a 5 minute walk, the bus even closer.
Found a great place to buy microwaveable meals with a Tesco express across the street for the wine and salad. Look for the sign that says Cook. We ate in almost exclusively and loved our evening wine in the garden.

PERFECT IN EVERY WAY

Perfect!
From the time I pressed the confirm accommodation button the owner of this wonderful flat has been faultless. Sue was immediately in contact and also we accepted her kind offer of organizing a driver from the airport.
Although the owner was away she arranged to have someone meet us at the flat and explain how everything worked. After a 24 hour flight to have milk, orange juice and croissants waiting for us was a extra treat.
There is a clear instruction folder with a useful list of restaurants in the area.
This flat is in a perfect location, buses and restauratns are 3 minutes away on Fulham Road and the train station with more restaurants close by is 7 minutes away in the other direction..
The flat was spotless, very modern kitchen and bathrooms, the lounge and bedrooms have a real Victorian charm as the listing heading suggests. The garden off the master bedroom was a real treat, I just wished the weather was better, it would have been the icing on the cake to have been able to sit outside with a wine at the end of the day.
We also had no issues with the Wifi connection.
I have to visit London every year and will be back.

Beautiful Flat, Excellent Location

We stayed at this property to attend a conference in the Hammersmith area. We were greeted by the lovely owner who welcomed us into her beautiful flat. Showing us everything we needed to know to be comfortable and to make the most of our stay including locations of good restaurants and how to get around. She had already been most helpful in arranging a taxi from the airport...a lovely touch!

The flat itself is beautiful, extremely clean and modern! The back garden is delightful and a wonderful place for breakfast and a glass of wine. We were all very impressed with how quiet the neighborhood was.

The Parsons Green Tube station is just around the corner which made getting a round London very easy.

I would highly recommend this venue and it will be "our place" to stay when we next return to London.

Fantastic flat in a perfect location. A wonderful way to experience London!

My husband and I stayed at this wonderful flat in July. It is a ground floor flat with lots of space, brand new appliances and beautifully quiet. There is a stunning garden off of the master terrace that is perfect for afternoon cocktails before dinner at one of the quaint restaurants in the area. Some lovely touches like up-market bathroom products, bed linen and towels and free local landline calls. Fantastic location for shops and restaurants with easy access to the tube and bus line into central London. Very helpful owner.

A very london experience!

Having lived in London for over 10 years when I go back to visit, I always want to experience London as a Londener and not a tourist. This property is perfect for that. The location is excellent. It is close to transportation, good restaurants and some lovely small shops. The flat is wonderful,- clean, well lit, and nicely decorated. The towels, bedding etc is of a high quality. The owner is extremely helpful and tries her very best to make the stay memorable. Our family stayed here for two weeks and we had such a wonderful time, our two teenage children would love to go again next year!
