Wonderful family vacation home

  • 5 of 5
My children & grandchildren stayed here for a week. Can't say enough good about the home and the location. The owners are very accommodating & welcoming. It was perfect for my seven grandchildren (ages 4-12), much to keep them busy with easy access to tubing, dune climbing, swimming, shopping, & hiking (they had a no electronics week & only watched one movie). We loved that it was quiet and private. The home has everything you would need to be comfortable and has a warm "at home" feeling. The grandchildren particularly loved the back deck as it was their "stage" to entertain the adults. What memories we made!!! Definitely intend to go back.

Excellent Rental in the Heart of the Leelanau Peninsula

  • 4 of 5
My family, along with a group of friends stayed at this home in Early July and had a wonderful time. The house was clean and well furnished. We were close to all the locations we visited (Sleeping Bear Dunes, Glen Arbor, Leland, Northport). The views were spectacular. We had 4 children under 5 with us and I will say that the home is not ideal for small children. There are two stairs that we had to block off and the back yard was elevated so we had to watch them closely. They did enjoy the sand pit in the back though! One other area of concern was the fire pit. The ground around it needs to be leveled. We were tipping over during our time around the fire. Overall though, a great house in a prime location. Recommended for people without small children.

The Best Place to Rent!

  • 5 of 5
Myself and 11 of my friends stayed here Memorial Day weekend for my best friends wedding. This is the perfect vacation home for a big group. Very clean! Bill was extremely accomidating and very easy to work with. His responses never took longer than a few hours tops. The home has great yard with porch, patio furniture and barbecue. Great Place to just relax or be silly play foosball, board/card games and drink wine. The home had a bunch of games, including foosball table which we loved! We would most definitely stay here again and wish we could take this home to wherever we vacation next! Very pleased :)

A great place, centrally located in beautiful Leelanau County. The quite, private setting was enhanced by the easy access to several attractions. The home was clean, comfortable and spacious for our group. We're looking forward to visiting again.
