Our Vacation Home is privately owned and we personally manage the property. The vacation home was our family home for many years prior to moving to a historic farm just two miles away. We enjoy raising chickens, growing vegetables and making wine on the farm. We look forward to hosting family, friends and visitors at our vacation home.

Bill Borre purchased this house in 1992

We hope that if you have not visited Leelanau, you'll bring some friends and family and find out why Leelanau was voted the 'Most Beautiful Place in America' by the viewers of Good Morning America and was recently voted as one of the best places in North America to watch a sunset. If you have been here before, welcome back.

A quiet, countryside family home on ten acres that provides easy access to the numerous attractions of Leelanau County.

A great place, centrally located in beautiful Leelanau County. The quite, private setting was enhanced by the easy access to several attractions. The home was clean, comfortable and spacious for our group. We're looking forward to visiting again.

We had a great stay. The house is big and clean. Plenty of room for a group of 10 adults. We are already talking about booking our stay next year!

Wine weekend

Four couples rented this place for the weekend to enjoy the beautiful fall colors and wine tours. After alot of searching, I found this place that I knew would accomadate 4 couples, a 5th if needed. We really wanted rooms that didnt have bunk beds so that the beds could be pushed together. Very hard to find rentals without bunk beds. We were all very happy and pleased with how clean and nice this rental was. The space was beyond what we needed. There really isnt anything we could think of that wasnt available there for us. Wineries were very close, we visited 7 of them as well as the Distillery. We ate at the recommended Dick's Poor House which was great food. Absolutely would come back again, and have already discussed it for next year. THANK YOU!

Perfect Summer Getaway

This was the perfect house for kids, family and friends. The kitchen was incredibly well stocked and super functional. There was a big kitchen and dining room table too. The bedroom layout was great too. The house is in the middle of the pennisula and it is an easy drive to Lake Leelanau, Sleeping Bear, Suttons Bay and more. There is a little coffee shop and pie store in walking distance and a nearby grocery store. We had a shower nozzle fall off one evening and the owner was there the next morning to fix it. It was a lovely home to spend a week in Northern Michigan. Would recommend to anyone who doesn't care about being on the water.
