This nice 2 b/r is the downstairs unit.. The beach is only yards away. It's about a 3-minute walk to the pier & amusements, approximately 1/4 mile . BED SETUP: The 1st bedroom has a Queen + 1 full bed; 2nd bedroom has 1 Queen bed. It will sleep 6 in beds. Cable TV, VCR, a full bath with shower/tub combo, fans, washer/dryer and there is an outside shower to rinse off & a gas BBQ grille. There are 2 parking spots across the street in the parking lot. $1,200/wk. Sorry, no pets permitted.

Old Orchard is a very popular vacation destination. Grand Beach in Old Orchard is beautiful.
Amtrack stops daily several times from Boston.

From the beach, it’s about 5 miles to Funtown USA, which is aTheme Park & water park; the Aquaboggin, a water park is two miles from Funtown. 5 miles to major supermarkets. Bike rentals are close by in OOB.
Just Steps to the beach: The beach is yards away. The famous Pier in OOB is about 3-4 minute walk from the cottage. At the Pier are gift shops, amusements & arcades for the kids, many restaurants and for those popular 'Pier Fries' and Pizza's.
There are many restaurants to choose from or just stay home & grill on the BBQ.
This is a very popular area for vacation. Grand Beach is beautiful and well kept.
The Porland Jetport is about 20 minutes from OOB & Saco. Amtrak stops in Old Orchard and in Saco. Many shops along Rte. 1 for antiquing as well as outlet shoppine (described below). There's a zoo in Wells, about 30-40 minute drive; smaller petting zoo in Scarborough. Harnice racing at Scarborough Downs. Fishing both off the beach or at the dock or mile-long jetty in Camp Ellis. (fishing license required now for anyone over 16). If on a fishing charter boat, no license needed
THINGS TO DO: In Camp Ellis, Saco (3 miles from OOB) Deep-sea fishing boats leave from the docks. At the dock is a boat launch and there are Marina's in Saco. Kayak rentals are nearby for use on the Saco River, which goes out to the ocean at Saco Bay. A fish & tackle shop is on the dock & a lobster pound is around the corner called The Fish'n Optician, open daily at 4:00 PM..
We're halfway between Kittery & Freeport (LLB) for outlet shopping. Maine Mall is 20-min.drive
Another attraction is “bird watching” at the Scarborough Marsh, which is about a 5-minute drive from Old Orchard & 10 minutes from Saco. Others nearby are the Saco Heath, Kennebunk Plains, Two-Lights in Scarborough (in the off season) &, Biddeford Pool.
Old Orchard has a beautiful beach called Grand Beach....the best in the State of Maine. There are gift shops, eateries, amusements, an arcade & the famous Pier at Old Orchard Beach. Amtrak runs trains from Boston to Portland daily with stops in Saco year round and in Old Orchard during summer season. Saco & Old Orchard are adjacent towns. Scarborough (Pine Point) is adjacent to Old Orchard Beach.
Saco & Old Orchard exits are #36 on the Maine Turnpike and are half way between Kittery & Freeport for outlet shopping; 20 minutes to South Portland to a major mall and 20 minutes to Portland. There are also many shops along Rte. 1 for antique stuff between Wells & Scarborough. The Old Port is at the waterfront with shops. We’re about 1-1/2 hours or so from the Boston area.
From Exit 36 on the Maine Pike, it’s only about a 10-minute ride to Ferry Beach, Camp Ellis & Old Orchard.
