We love our home in Hawaii and hope to share it with people from around the world.
Kona is the best known town on the Big Island. This home is a short drive from several beaches. There are several beaches in the area where you can snorkel and boogie board safely in the same place. The area has miles of beautiful white sand beaches. Kona is a town with fabulous restaurants and shopping. The nearby beaches provide a safe place to play in crystal clear waters, where you can find sea turtles and many tropical fish.
Beautiful newer home in a great neighborhood. We wanted to experience home living to determine if we wanted to move to Hawaii. This home has the comforts and set up like our own home. Having a recliner is a must-have for my husband since we are here for 3 months.
Decor is fabulous with island theme - beautiful paintings. Amenities are extensive. Besides those listed, there are also these items: toaster, blender, coffee maker, juicer, iron and ironing board, blow dryer. Snorkeling items, flippers, boogie boards, large umbrella, beach towels, 2 beach chairs.
I needed and found a first aid kit - mahalo! Even some of the tools came in handy. It was wonderful walking the neighborhood taking pictures of flowers. When I interacted with people (asking permission to take pictures of some yards with extensive garden areas), they were friendly.
The owner bent over backwards to make sure the home was ready for us, fixing things the previous people abused or neglected. It has been great here; really feels like home.
I would choose this place again in a heartbeat!
I loved staying at this beautiful, immaculate home for a week while my house was being termite tented. The location is great and it was very quiet and peaceful with all the amenities I needed. Special thanks to the owners for being so accommodating on a last minute request. I would certainly recommend this vacation rental to anyone who wants a great place to stay in Kona!
