This cozy guest cottage is one of the first homes built in Joshua Tree. It is conviently located less than one mile from downtown Joshua Tree and less than three miles from the entrance to Joshua Tree National Park. The one bedroom cottage is in a quiet residential neighborhood with the owner's home at the front of the property. A long drive leads to the parking area in front of the cottage and only steps from the door.
Completely renovated, the cottage has both central AC and heating. The kitchen is equiped with everything guests need to prepare full meals or simple snacks. There is an electric stove, full refridgerator, cooking utensils, microwave, coffe pot, dishes and cutlery. Enjoy your meals indoors or on the private enclosed patio. The screened-in porch is an ideal place to have your morning coffee and watch the sunrise.
The bedroom has one queen bed. A Eurolounger in the livingroom can be used as a sofa by day and converts into a bed to sleep one adult comfortably. A roll-way bed is availble. Linens, pillows, and towels are provided.
The bathroom has a tub with a shower and a small sink. The vanity area is in the connecting hallway permits guests to blow dry their hair or put on make-up, leaving the bathroom open for others.

Patti is an artist who has a studio in the main house on the property and is also an education administrator for the local school district.
Our friends and family are frequent visitors and always enjoy their stay in our guest cottage. We decided to open our doors to other guests and enjoy the diversity of the people who are drawn to the beauty of the desert.
Joshua Tree National Park is the major attraction in the area. Downtown JT has small unique shops, galleries, and restaurants. Palm Springs and all its attractions are a short drive, about 35 miles, down the highway. A bit further is the Cabazon Outlet Mall and Casino. Big Bear resort area is an easy day trip for those who enjoy mountain outings.
