An absolute gem

After hours of research and looking at various rentals on every site imaginable, we decided on this wonderful Beachfront condo! This was our 2nd year in a row in TCI, the previous year we stayed at the sister property to this resort. We had absolutely NO complaints! Wendy was very accommodating, as she left a cell phone for local calls as well as a binder FULL of useful info! We were traveling with our 2 teenage children and they loved how close we were to the beach, pool and The Seaside Cafe. This property is conveniently located to shopping, grocery store, and numerous restaurants. There is a shuttle available to take one to the OC East property, which I recommend doing at least once, so that you can eat at Opus and just stroll down the secluded beach as this property is on the far end of Grace Bay!
The unit itself was great, very nicely furnished, updated and clean. At midweek there is a maid service that comes in which was nice as well!
Pack light since there is a washer/dryer in the unit, I have learned from experience...we always take too many clothes!
Due to an injury or trip was cut short, which was a complete bummer. Wendy even offered to come and get our kids while we were at the hospital!
I recommend renting a car for at least one day so that you can see all of the beaches on the island. We used Grace Bay Rentals and they were very reasonably priced. We drove to Chalk sound, Sopadilla Bay, Long Bay, Blue Hills to Northwest Point! We ate at Da Conch Shack while in Blue Hills (delicious conch fritters). I would also recommend Tiki Hut at Turtle Cove on Wednesday night for there chicken and ribs special, Coco Bistro for amazing steaks, Caicos Cafe for great Caribbean fare. Eating out can be quite expensive, so we stocked up on breakfast and lunch foods and ate in the condo!
Kudos to Wendy for being so nice! Will we be returning? MOST definitely (once I recover from my broken leg, on another note...DO NOT jump from the parasail boat onto the beach, as it might not end well)!
