This 5 star home was built in 2009 and is on Fairy Lake in Muskoka. The property is extremely private and yet it is within easy walking distance to Main St in Huntsville shopping and restaurants. Four of the bedrooms face the lake and each has an ensuite bath and shower.

Algonquin Park is 25 minutes away.

The 2010 G8 summit was held in Huntsville.

Our property is on the lake. There is a large dock in the water and lots of deck area around the cottage. There is also a screened porch area. The property is very private and yet the main street of Huntsville is only 1.5 miles away, a nice walk along a wooded country lane.

Loons, white tail deer,hummingbirds, are a few of the animals frequently seen. There is a theatre in town, kayaks and canoes can be rented at the local outfitters store and the community has a lot of activities in the summer months for the tourists.

If you're looking for the ultimate Muskoka escape, this home MUST be at the TOP of your list! Having stayed in Muskoka on numerous occasions, this home is definitely a hidden gem in the area (secluded but highly accessible). The views are spectacular, the home is cozy & classy. It's evident from first sight of the property & walking through the oversized front door that this house was truly a labour of love for the builder/owners of this home. This home is one that could easily be featured in a magazine but better yet, you come away from your stay with memorable experiences that reminds you of the beauty of what Muskoka has to offer :) We felt lucky that the owners were gracious enough to share their beautiful home with our family. We'll definitely be returning!!!
