Spanish Wells Villa Rental Photos and Description
2 Bedrooms, 2 Full Bathrooms, Sleeps 6
This charming beachfront villa is located in the quiet western area of the beautiful 2.5 mile long delicate pink sand beach of Spanish Wells, Eleuthera, Bahamas. This area of Spanish Wells Bahamas offers some of the best bonefishing in the Bahamas. Conch Shell Beach Villa is located on more than 1.5 acre of beach front property so that it offers much more privacy than most of the beachfront rental properties in the area (which are typically situated on 1/8 acre or less). This lovely vacation villa rental offers a private gated entrance and a large private garden with many coconut palm trees, an abundance of flowering trees, sea grape trees, coco plum trees, and large native Bahamian shade trees. This villa is located in an area of large beachfront estate lots (most 2+ acres) where there is no public beach access; so, this is the most quiet and secluded stretch of beach in Spanish Wells. This beachfront garden is a great place to relax in the hammock and peacefully read a good book.
The Villa:: The interior of the home is decorated in the very colorful island tradition with much of the furniture of wicker and rattan. There are two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a large great room, and a full kitchen. The villa offers every convenience including cable TV, DVD/CD player, washer & dryer, microwave, paddle fans in every room, and air-conditioning throughout. Free unlimited high speed internet is available. There is a very nice sea view from the great room and the kitchen.
There is an expansive covered front porch that offers up a great view. This is a great place to relax and read a book on the chaise lounges in the shade, or to dine outside while taking in the view. Adjacent to the porch is an outside shower so that one can rinse off salt and sand before entering the house.
Extras:: Bicycles and ocean kayaks are offered with the vacation rental with which one can use to explore the area. A 16' new fiberglass boat with motor is also offered for those that love fishing, snorkeling, and sightseeing. With the boat one can explore nearby islets, islands, cays, deserted beaches, and some of the Spanish Wells Bahamas area's most beautiful reefs. The boat is moored right in front of the villa making it very convenient to use at anytime. Otherwise, motor boats, kayaks, and bicycles are expensive to rent separately.
Conch Shell Beach Villa is located on an idyllic beach with powder soft pinkish sand. The beach is calm, tranquil, and warm with no rocks, rough surf, or riptides, and the ocean is so clear you can see your shadow on the bottom.
Fishing charters, snorkeling trips, cave tours, and golf cart rentals are available. It is best to reserve these at the same time as the villa.
Spanish Wells:: The Spanish Wells area is well-known for its great fishing and snorkeling. The Devil's Backbone Barrier Reef is just offshore. Terrific bonefishing can be had right in front of Conch Shell Beach Villa.
In Spanish Wells Bahamas, you will never run out of things to do until you want to. The native Bahamian quilt makers, the local straw vendors & the museum are always fun to visit. A visit with local fishermen as they bring in their fresh catch each day can be both informative and delicious. A trip on the Fast Ferry to nearby Harbour Island is a delight, and you won't want to miss the local restaurants, the new gym, the bakeries, and the best fishing and snorkeling that the Bahamas has to offer.
Spanish Wells is reminiscent of an idyllic Cape Cod fishing village with swaying coconut palm trees and bright bougainvillea as background. Winding little roads lead a visitor around brightly painted cottages sporting gables and wooden shutters.

About Lorraine Rowan Beauregard
We are a local family living in Spanish Wells Eleuthera Bahamas. Our family dates back to the original Eleutheran Adventurers, the first European settlers in The Bahamas, dating back to 1648, who shipwrecked on Devil's Backbone Reef just off of Preacher's Cave in nearby North Eleuthera.. Brian aka Capt. Scuba is a licensed boat captain and works full time as a lobster diver. When not diving commercially for lobsters, he is a local fishing & snorkeling guide, and also offers area tours and cave exploring. (Some have called him the Crocodile Dundee of North Eleuthera.) Brent aka Capt. Smiley is also a licensed boat captain who also offers fishing and snorkeling trips, boat rentals, and golf cart rentals. He is also a local rental property manager. Lorraine is the local Spanish Wells realtor and will be pleased to show you all the best local real estate deals (her listings and all other agents' listings) when you are in town. Guestbook comments from the owner
We have really enjoyed this week at Conch Shell Beach Villa. We loved having use of the boat. We used it every day. We went to many deserted nearby islands and beaches. ( Wonderful for being all alone with my wife. ) The snokeling was fantastic and we actually swam with dolpins yesterday! It was an experience that we will not forget. We also kayaked around the entire island. We enjoyed the bicycles, the quaint town, and the friendly locals. We hope to return to this unique and wonderful place. Many thanks to Lorraine, Anna-Claire, and Brent for all of their help in making this an unforgettable vacation.
