I fell in love with Art Deco style after a trip to Miami's south beach. I was already in love with the Historic Uptown neighborhood, since I owned a house just down the street. When the building came up for sale I knew I had to own it! It was been a labor of love having done much of the work myself.

Located in Historic Uptown Neighborhood, 5th St N & 11th Ave is very unique. In the middle of many turn of the century bungalows, are four Art Deco buildings reminiscent of South Beach. Truly a hip, urban, & eclectic neighborhood. Close to downtown restaurants and activities.

Crescent Lake Park:

-Dog Park, Tennis Courts, large open field, playground, walking loop.

Downtown St. Pete:

20 min walk to: restaurants, The Pier, Muvico, First Friday block party, Saturday morning Farmer's Market, parks, museums including Dali and MFA, Sunken Gardens, Jannus Landing concert venue, Tropicana Field, Mahaffey Theater, & USF.

My partner and I were very pleased with this one bedroom rental. It was clean and well maintained. All the basic necessities we needed were there and the decor showed attention to detail with beautiful paintings and the art deco theme throughout. Taylor, the owner, was very easy to work with and responsive to our questions/needs. The love seat was not very comfortable for sitting but the bed mattress was excellent. The location is very good as it is close to downtown St. Petersburg and a15 to 20 minute drive to Treasure Island and St. Pete Beach.

Good apartment

This was good stay for my wife and me. The neighborhood is nice to walk around in and the location was just right. Near enough to downtown and not in the middle of everything so could walk to a lake and so on. Would stay here again if returning to Tampa area.

Working Vacation

The apartment was great as a place to work, as well as a super convenient vacation place to take advantage of St. Pete. Easy walk to the downtown area, full of restaurants, the bay and park, and Cresent Lake for an easy afternoon walk to enjoy the weather. Quite, well equiped apartment and a super responsive landlord for any questions.

I hope that I'll be able to arrange with my work to be able to do this again at this same place. Taylor - hold me a spot!

I just returned from the last of three stays at Taylor's apartment this month. It was a cozy, comfortable home away from home for us during our time in St Petersburg. The apartment was great, well stocked and convenient to all of the local things to see and do. Taylor was always friendly and accessible if we needed anything. A wonderful experience overall!
