Fox Fields Farm is located in Bar Harbor, Maine, on the western side of Mount Desert Island. This particular listing is for the newly renovated and now rentable Fox Hill Cottage, a charming and newly furnished hillside home with a breathtaking view of the ocean, Maine's famous Blue Hill, and the Fox Fields Farm horse pastures below.. This lovely home has a wide deck with comfortable seating, as well as access to the water (by way of a hiking path) where there is a canoe available with life jackets. The house has 3 bedrooms (2 bedrooms with Queens bed and 1 bedroom with a set of bunk beds). There is also an overflow room with a futon, and Queen size bed.and there are 2 bathrooms, a fully stocked kitchen, and a living room with TV and Internet.

FYI, Nearby airports include BHB (10 min.) and BGR (1 hour), and the drive is 5 from of Boston on the 95. It is well worth the trip, especially if you’ve never experienced Bar Harbor and the beautiful Acadia National Park, one of the most visited national parks east of the Mississippi River. There are endless hiking trails and mountain biking carriage roads on the island. Alternatively, you can spend time sea kayaking, whale watching or playing some of the most enjoyable and historic ocean-front golf courses on the East Coast.
