House, 4 Bedrooms + Other (See Description), 2 Baths, (Sleeps 9-11)

Newer, smoke-free home, beautifully landscaped, with many updates done for the '012 season. Nicely decorated and well maintained 4 bedroom, (a/c in 2 of them), 2 bath home with an additional outdoor hot water shower that's handy after returning from a day at the beach. There's plenty of beach chairs on hand as well as a cooler, beach towels and toys for the kids. Linens, towels and paper goods, soaps, cleaning supplies are all included for your convenience.

Some of the amenities include an attached 1 car garage with ample parking around back, a Weber grille, washer and dryer, fully equipped kitchen with granite countertops. Right out from the kitchen slider, there's a deck with a high-top table, chairs and an umbrella for outside dining. High speed wifi is included as well as 3 t.v.'s, and a couple of dvd and vcr's, radio w/ cd player and a telephone for local calling. The living room sofa pulls out to sleep 2 more if necessary.

The bike trail and some nice restaurants, post office and variety store are all within a short walking distance. The closest beach is 8/10 of a mile away and it's free.

About The Owner

Our home is a family -run vacation property. It is checked and maintained by at least one family member on a weekly basis. Upgrades are always on-going. We wish to present it as a place where we would want to spend time.

The Owner purchased this house in 2004
Why The Owner chose Chatham

Chatham continues to be a very desirable place to visit because it projects the quaintness of old cape cod, while its small town quality continues to inspire the return of families year after year.

What makes this house unique

The living room is open to the kitchen which has an adjoining deck. There's plenty of parking with 2 driveways. One is on the front right hand side of the house and can accommodate 2 cars back to back. The other, more generous one, is on the left of the house and winds around to the back. This area has plenty of parking for additional guests. The attached garage adds to the convenience of unpacking/packing, and grocery shopping.

Payment is usually accepted in the quoted currency () unless the currency and the amount is specifically agreed in advance with the owner / advertiser.

  • From $275/nt-$1650-$2200/wk
  • U.S. Dollars
  • Summer rates run from 6-30-2012 until 9-1-2012. It's a Saturday to Saturday rental
  • Weekly summer rates are $2200 per week. Off season rates are $1650 per week.
  • Daily off-season rates are $275 per night with a 3 night minimum. A $300 security
  • deposit is required on all reservations and will be promptly refunded barring any
  • damages. To reserve a date, 1/2 down is required, and the balance plus the
  • security paid in full one month prior to the lease. There are no additional fees.

Immaculate and charming.

The five of us had a wonderful week with this charming house as our base. It was perfect from start to finish. The grounds are beautiful, with roses and hydrangeas in bloom. There was ample parking and a delightful back deck where we had breakfast and dinner.
Inside was immaculate and comfortably decorated. The kitchen was well outfitted, with a few staples to ease our stay. Lots of beach gear available.
Close to two small beaches.... Cockle Cove and Forest Beach. Check out the pottery shop on Cockle Cove road.....charming garden decor and handmade pottery.
Ellen was a delight to work with....quickly responded to all questions.
As this house is on Rte 28, open windows did let in traffic noise. We were not particularly bothered by this, but not for those seeking perfect quiet.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Adventure Seekers, Girls Getaway, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, People with Disabilities
