About Angela Medina

I have lived in Seattle most of my life with a 4 year stint in Mexico which had the most positive impact on my life besides my 3 month tour of Europe. It opened up my world in ways no other medium can. I have seen many many changes to my city, most for the good and even though I complain about the gray, damp, cold, windy, rainy, dark months between November and May, there is so much natural beauty all around us from the Cascades to Mt. Rainier, the Olympic mountains and the national parks they reside in that I constantly have to remind myself would not exist without the aforementioned weather pattern that ALL OF US like to complain about! lol-If you've never been to the San Juans, make the trip, you won't regret it! Then there's the city life with all of the farmer's markets, music scene, amazing restaurants, parks, trails and beaches within minutes from here. I also love the diversity of people, language, culture and the fact that Seattle ranks #2 for most literate city in the United States!

Living and working here since 2000, I manage 2 short term rentals and a 1-chair salon that I work in Sunday-Tuesday and rent to another hairdresser Wednesday-Saturday. The grounds are surrounded by lush landscaping, decks, hummingbirds, finches, amazing views and a couple of unique kitty cats. It truly is a peaceful oasis at the center of a diverse, bustling, centrally located and culinary dynamic neighborhood.

What makes this apartment unique

If you love to walk, Volunteer & Interlaken Parks and The Arboretum are very close by. Kayaking is just down the hill as is The Burke Gilman Trail which offers miles and miles of safe and beautiful scenery for bicycling, rollerblading and running.

My sons and I just spent a wonderful few days in Seattle, we were attending a conference at the Washington Convention Center and found the Condo on Capital Hill to be very well located with easy access on and off I5, we visited the Space Needle, EMP, Pike Market, Aquarium, Mount Ranier and took a seaplane ride. The condo was very well appointed and we had no need to contact the owner during our stay since everything was perfect. The noise from I5 is an issue but we found after the first night we were not affected by it at all. The neighborhood is upscale and we were able to find grocery store, restaurants and easy access to the city. I highly recommend this condo to anyone who wants fantastic views of Seattle and a strategically located place to live for a few days or more.

Stayed here with 3 couples and had plenty of room. The place was clean and decorated beautifully. The views from the windows are GREAT! Unbelievable view - gorgeous property

First time in Seattle and I couldn't happier with my stay at this property. Angela was extremely helpful and responsive. The pictures on the site don't give you a scale of the interior. This is a very big place! If you like a modern look you will love it. Everything is in perfect condition and tastefully decorated. Perfectly located. Yes there is some freeway noise but that didn't bother me. Very small downside that shouldn't deter you from staying here. I would highly recommend this property.

What a perfect Seattle vacation home!

We were very impressed with the beautiful view of the lake and Seattle skyline. The home is very tastefully furnished, wonderful art and extremely comfortable beds. It was also a treat to be able to interact with Angela, she is very sweet and it's nice to have her on location just in case. The noise from the highway below may take a bit of getting used to but it is worth it for the view. The back deck is much more peaceful and a perfect spot to relax, read and maybe even enjoy a glass of local wine. The beds are extremely comfortable! We all slept so well each night. The kitchen is well equipped for family dinners with all the fresh treats you can pick up at Pike Place Market. It's nice to have the parking but note that if you drive a larger vehicle or truck, you can fit but it will be just a bit of a tight squeeze into the garage. Plenty of street parking though as well. Since this is a penthouse unit, you will have a few stairs to the home so make sure you note this if you have any mobility issues - but oh that view once you're in the home :) The location is so quick and easy to so many locations - quick on and off I-5 access. We walked to the Capitol Hill neighborhood which has many food, coffee, store options. It's a nice 1.5 mile walk to this neighborhood. We are looking forward to our next visit to Seattle and hope this home is available for our next stay! Thanks Angela for a great stay and wonderful accommodations!

Perfect stay!

I hesitate giving such a great review because I want this place to available when I want it but, I can't lie, this is a great place. The owner Angela could not be more polite and responsive. It was a pleasure meeting her. The home is clean, comfortable and the view is spectacular. It is easily accessible to IH-5 and easy to navigate North and South. 5 minutes to downtown and UW. The penthouse is right on IH-5 but you don't hear the highway noise inside at all. Nice front terrace and a shaded back deck in which ate dinner several nights. A lot of stairs to get to the condo if you have physical issues. The parking in the garage and off the street is a huge bonus. I have nothing negative to say about our stay, can't wait to come back.

Owner's Response: What an AMAZING family!! 4 kids ranging from a toddler to a 13 year old and we never heard any running around! I guess it's really all about the parenting. They were so well mannered and sweet, the 8 year old came up to the salon unaccompanied by her parents to introduce herself (with a handshake!) and tell me how much she loved the apartment! LOL-How cute is that!? Then we hugged(:) I wish all families were like this! I cannot wait for them to return! xoxo to all!

Great place, great view, great host!

Our family of five loved this place and highly recommend it to others!! We actually couldn't believe our luck. The view was breathtaking, and the home was clean, decorative, well-furnished and easily accessible. There is even a lush, private deck off the back. Although the property is right next to the highway, it was not a problem for us. We quickly adjusted and accepted this. We just opened other doors instead of the front deck door. Also, Angela was a great host - very responsive with questions on the unit and ready to provide suggestions on the city. We would definitely stay here again if we return to Seattle!
