About Angela Medina

I have lived in Seattle most of my life with a 4 year stint in Mexico which had the most positive impact on my life besides my 3 month tour of Europe. It opened up my world in ways no other medium can. I have seen many many changes to my city, most for the good and even though I complain about the gray, damp, cold, windy, rainy, dark months between November and May, there is so much natural beauty all around us from the Cascades to Mt. Rainier, the Olympic mountains and the national parks they reside in that I constantly have to remind myself would not exist without the aforementioned weather pattern that ALL OF US like to complain about! lol-If you've never been to the San Juans, make the trip, you won't regret it! Then there's the city life with all of the farmer's markets, music scene, amazing restaurants, parks, trails and beaches within minutes from here. I also love the diversity of people, language, culture and the fact that Seattle ranks #2 for most literate city in the United States!

Angela Medina purchased this apartment in 2000

Why Angela Medina chose Capitol Hill

Living and working here since 2000, I manage 2 short term rentals and a 1-chair salon that I work in Sunday-Tuesday and rent to another hairdresser Wednesday-Saturday. The grounds are surrounded by lush landscaping, decks, hummingbirds, finches, amazing views and a couple of unique kitty cats. It truly is a peaceful oasis at the center of a diverse, bustling, centrally located and culinary dynamic neighborhood.

What makes this apartment unique

If you love to walk, Volunteer & Interlaken Parks and The Arboretum are very close by. Kayaking is just down the hill as is The Burke Gilman Trail which offers miles and miles of safe and beautiful scenery for bicycling, rollerblading and running.

Guestbook comments from the owner

Angela,

We had a great time at your place. Thank you for refunding the deposit so quickly. Your place is beautiful and has lots of extras. The artwork is adds a really nice touch to the house. We would love to stay there again if we are ever in the area again.

This was the perfect place to bring my family together. Plenty of room, functional layout, Absolutely Gorgeous View of Seattle, beautiful neighborhood, friendly and helpful landlord (Angela), close to downtown, great hiking adventures short drive away, beautifully furnished, safe area. Was very comfortable and felt right at home. I can't say enough. Exceeded my expectations. Very satisfied with the stay!

The view is truly amazing

  • 5 of 5

The space is modern but beautiful, the beds are comfy, the kitchen is incredibly well-stocked...and then there's the view. If you are visiting Seattle or trying to impress people from out of town (or to convince them to move here) this is the view to do it. Lake Union, the Olympics, downtown, the Space Needle, the sunset, the sea planes--it's gorgeous. You could sit with a cup of coffee and just stare.

Perfect Location, Beautiful Condo

  • 5 of 5

We just (reluctantly) returned and could not recommend this property highly enough. The space is just as beautiful as the pictures, if not more-so, and the location could not be better. Downtown is only a couple of miles away, and the views from the living room and balcony are incredible. Angela was extremely responsive to any questions and her suggestions for attractions and restaurants were top-notch.

If you're considering a rental in Seattle, stop looking and book. There is a reason that every review is 5-stars and ours is no exception.

wonderful stay in seattle

  • 5 of 5

Our family, with adult children, stayed here for a week in November and had an absolutely wonderful time. First, the view! It's spectacular. We so enjoyed sitting in the living room and looking out, watching the changing light and weather pass over the the city, Lake Union, and the Olympics. I had been a little worried that noise from the freeway might be irritating, but it was not at all. The furnishings were lovely and comfortable. Beds very comfortable for sleeping, and bedrooms very quiet. Lovely large table for dining and gathering together. It wasn't back deck weather when we were there, but the deck would be lovely in warmer weather. We did a lot of cooking, and were delighted with all that was in the kitchen - much better equipped than most house rentals. Great neighborhood - it takes 20 minutes to walk to the heart of Capital Hill/Broadway - a nice walk. Was able to find parking easily on the street for a second car. The owner/manager was really terrific to work with, from booking to arriving, and throughout with any questions that arose. We all agreed that we would love to stay here again on another trip to Seattle.

Spectacular space!

  • 5 of 5

Angela's penthouse was such a pleasant stay. It was truly stunning space with an unbeatable location, close to all of the good stuff - Volunteer Park, downtown, and capitol hill. The penthouse is incredibly well maintained with all contemporary appliances and furnishing. Angela is prompt, communicative, and was such a wonderful host to work with and would recommend anyone to stay in this beautiful space.
