About Ellen Dean
I am a retired educator who loves to travel. I have grown children in the area and in New York. I love living in San Francisco and will be happy to share some of my favorite spots many of which would be known only by locals.

Why Ellen Dean chose Marina District
This home is located in an ideal part of the City. The neighborhood is safe and clean yet easily accessible to downtown, sporting venues, and the parks and hiking options within the City. Nearby attractions include the Symphony Hall, beautiful beaches and Golden Gate Park complete with a world class museum, Academy of Science and an amazing botanical garden. The wine country of Sonoma and Napa are an hour away by car. Silicon Valley and Berkely/Oakland can be accessed by public transportation as well as easy freeway driving.
What makes this house unique
I love the convenience of this home to city activities yet when I am at home, the neighborhood is extremely quiet and often the only sound is the fog horn on the Bay or the chirping of birds in the morning. Public transportation via bus lines 22 and 30 are within blocks of the house.
